The present invention relates to an organic light emitting device that includes a layered structure including a substrate, a bottom electrode and a top electrode, wherein the bottom electrode is closer to the substrate than the top electrode, the region between the bottom electrode and the top electrode defining an electronically active region, wherein the electronically active region includes a scattering layer having a thickness of less than 50 nm; and an organic light emitting device additionally having at least one light emitting layer in the electronically active region, and this device can also include a specific chemical compound outside of the electronically active region.

Organic light emitting device

The invention relates to an organic component, in particular a light-emitting organic component, having an electrode () and a counter electrode () and also an arrangement of organic layers () which is arranged between the electrode () and the counterelectrode () and which is in electrical contact with the electrode () and the counterelectrode (), the arrangement of organic layers () comprising charge carrier transport layers () for transporting charge carriers injected from the electrode () and from the counterelectrode () into the arrangement of organic layers (), and with an injection layer () made from a molecular doping material being formed in the arrangement of organic layers () between the electrode () and a charge carrier transport layer () arranged opposite to the electrode (), which injection layer is in contact with the charge carrier transport layer () arranged opposite to the electrode (), the molecular doping material having a molecular weight of at least 300 g/mol.

Organic component

The invention provides an electronic device including an anode and a cathode, between which there are at least two organic phototransducing units where the units are separated by an intermediate connecting region which comprises in sequence: an organic p-type layer, an intermediate layer in direct contact with the organic p-type layer and including a compound that has a LUMO more negative than &#x2212;3.0 eV and is different from the organic compound in the organic p-type layer, and an n-type doped organic layer in direct contact with the intermediate layer and including an electron transport material as a host and an organic n-dopant with a HOMO less negative than &#x2212;4.5 eV. In one embodiment, the electronic device is a tandem OLED.

Light-emitting organic component, arrangement having a plurality of light-emitting organic components and electrode structure

The invention relates to a light-emitting organic component, in particular a light-emitting organic diode, having an electrode and a counter electrode and an organic region located between the electrode and the counter electrode, the electrode having electrode sections, each of which are implemented at least partially overlapping and in contact with the organic region and which are electrically connected with each other by means of one or more further electrode sections, forming the electrode, and the electrode having an electrical safety structure allocated to the electrode sections. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for the production of a light-emitting organic component, an array with several light-emitting organic components and an electrode structure for an electronic component.

Light emitting organic component with fuse structure

The invention relates to a light-emitting component, in particular organic light-emitting diode, having an electrode and a counterelectrode and an organic region&#x2014;arranged between the electrode and the counterelectrode&#x2014;with a light-emitting organic region, which comprises an emission layer and a further emission layer and which, upon application of an electrical voltage to the electrode and the counterelectrode, is formed in a manner emitting light in a plurality of colour ranges in the visible spectral range, optionally through to white light, in which case the emission layer comprises a fluorescent emitter which emits light predominantly in the blue or in the blue-green spectral range; the further emission layer comprises one or a plurality of phosphorescent emitters emitting light predominantly in the non-blue spectral range; a triplet energy for an energy level of a triplet state of the fluorescent emitter in the emission layer is greater than a triplet energy for an energy level of a triplet state of the phosphorescent emitter in the further emission layer; and an at least 5% proportion of the light generated in the light-emitting organic region is formed in the visible spectral range as fluorescent light from singlet states of the fluorescent emitter in the emission layer.

Light-emitting component

The invention relates to a transparent light-emitting component, in particular organic light-emitting diode, having a transparent layer arrangement in which are formed, on a substrate in a stack, planar electrodes and an organic region arranged between the planar electrodes, which organic region comprises a light-emitting layer, made from one or a plurality of organic materials. For at least one direction of incidence, a transmittance of the transparent layer arrangement for at least one wavelength subrange in the visible spectral range is greater than 50%. One of the planar electrodes has a metal layer having a thickness of less than 40 nm, and another of the planar electrodes, which is arranged opposite to the electrode in the layer arrangement, has an oxide layer made from an electrically conductive oxide material having a thickness of at least 10 nm, an intensity ratio of at least 2:1 being formed for a light emission emerging on one side of the transparent layer arrangement and a light emission emerging on an opposite side of the transparent layer arrangement.

Transparent light-emitting component

The invention relates to an electronic device comprising a layer structure of organic layers, wherein said layer structure comprises a p-n-junction between an n-type doped organic layer provided as an organic matrix material doped with an n-type dopant and a p-type doped organic layer provided as a further organic matrix material doped with a p-type dopant, and wherein the n-type dopant and the p-type dopant both are molecular dopants, a reduction potential of the p-type dopant is equal or larger than about 0 V vs. Fc/Fc, and an oxidation potential of the n-type dopant is equal or smaller than about &#x2212;1.5 V vs. Fc/Fc.

The invention refers to a top-emitting device, particularly organic light-emitting diode having a layer arrangement applied on a substrate, which layer arrangement comprises a bottom electrode arranged on the substrate and a top electrode through which a light emission is effected, and also a stack of organic layers arranged between the bottom electrode and the top electrode where, at the bottom electrode, a surface facing towards the stack of organic layers is formed in light-reflecting fashion at least in a partial region and being provided with a surface structure that defines a reflection of light generated in the stack of organic layers at the bottom electrode, and where the surface structure is formed by means of mechanical shaping.
