A method and system for Bluetooth&#xae; and Wireless LAN coexistence may include controlling wireless local area network (WLAN) communication and Bluetooth&#xae; communication in a coexistence system that handles at least a WLAN communication protocol and a Bluetooth&#xae; communication protocol based on time division multiplexing (TDM) and adaptive frequency hopping (AFH). Switching may occur between the WLAN communication and the Bluetooth&#xae; communication based on the TDM and the AFH. In one embodiment of the invention, the switching may occur adaptively. Notwithstanding, in instances where it may be determined that AFH is disabled, switching to TDM may occur. WLAN communication and/or Bluetooth&#xae; communication may be disabled or enabled based on a state of at the WLAN communication and/or the Bluetooth&#xae; communication. Use of the AFH may be enabled or disabled based on a link status of the WLAN communication and/or the Bluetooth&#xae; communication.

The first and second RF circuits are co-located and the first RF circuit is configured to operate in a first frequency range. A method for avoiding signal interference between a first RF device and a second RF device is provided. The first and second RF devices are co-located and the first RF device is configured to operate in a first frequency range. The second RF device is configured to operate in a second frequency range, where the first frequency range overlaps, at least in part, the first frequency range. Methods, systems, and apparatuses for synchronizing one or more output/sink devices are described. In each sink device, a communication packet is received from a source device. The communication packet includes data and a source clock timestamp. A local clock signal is generated that is synchronized with a source clock signal of the source device. The data is decoded using a codec. At least one delay and the source clock timestamp are subtracted from a current value of the local clock signal to generate a local latency value. A difference between a desired latency value and the local latency value is determined. A rate of a clock signal of the codec is adjusted according to the determined difference. Because each sink device adjusts its latency to a common desired latency value, the sink devices are thereby synchronized.

The first and second RF devices are co-located and the first RF device is configured to operate within a semi-stationary range of a frequency band. Then, the second RF device receives the semi-stationary range and a mode for the first RF device through the communication interface.
