The invention relates to a combination mortar weapon () with a base () and mortar barrel (). A frame () with a receiving area () for receiving an additional base () is attached to the base (). The base () belongs to a standard mortar () and the additional base () belongs to a commando mortar (). The mortar barrel () is secured to the additional base () of the commando mortar (). The mortar barrel () is used by the standard mortar () and by the commando mortar (). The connection between the base () of the standard mortar () and the base () of the commando motor () is produced at least by a rapid-action closure (). The frame () comprises an arm (), to which a monopod () is attached as the support device and for the purpose of elevating the mortar barrel ().

Mortar weapon

In order to obtain an explosive smoke grenade, which can be fired from a portable anti-tank weapon, in particular a recoilless infantry weapon, and permits an enemy position or a vehicle to be fogged as quickly as possible, so that the enemy has only a very limited radius of action, a explosive smoke grenade is provided with a time fuse that can be programmed such that the burst charge detonates in the direct vicinity of the enemy position but before the grenade has reached the ground, and releases the smoke-generating active material. In addition, the pyrotechnic active substance arranged between the burst charge and the grenade casing is formed of a plurality of film strips, which are coated with a red-phosphorus-containing incendiary composition (flares). For this purpose, the dimensions of the flares are selected such that they generate a visibility barrier in both the visible and the infrared wavelength regions.

Explosive smoke grenade

A flare ignition system for an ejectable flare (), for protecting moving and/or stationary objects from heat-seeking threats, is disclosed, wherein the flare ignition system is characterized by a heat transfer occurring within a type of tube or tube nozzle () provided with one or more heating elements. The flare ignition system is integrated in an ejector system (), which additionally comprises an accelerator unit () surrounding the tube nozzle () and a heat insulation () bound between the two.

An activation unit () for munitions-free decoys, active masses or active bodies () is characterized by an ejector tube () and a high-powered heater element () arranged around the ejector tube (), wherein the heater element is made up of at least one heating wire (), provided with electrical current by a regulator unit. Each heating wire () is enclosed in a sleeve () and embedded in at least one heat-loss minimizing material. The active body () passing through the activation unit () directly or indirectly contacts with the individual elements () of the activation unit (). Thermal energy is transmitted to the active body () from the heating wires (), which ignites at the touching or contact point.

The invention pertains to a weapon that provides a range control (), by means of which it is possible to set firing velocity, and thus impact velocity, of the ammunition or active bodies () to a distance to be discharged in such a way that, in particular, the non-lethal ammunition () continues to have a non-lethal effect. To this end, a type of pneumatic weapon () is described that, with the use of a shot pressure control, e.g. by means of a proportional pressure regulator (), and/or additionally in combination with breech technology and valve technology, has a continuously variable range control.
