The invention relates to a method for handling a handover of a call at a mobile entity from a WiFi network to a mobile communications network, comprising the following steps. A connection request is transmitted to a radio access network of the mobile communications network, the connection request comprising a first indicator indicating that the connection request is for a handover of an ongoing call currently handled by the WiFi network. A service request is transmitted to set up a connection to a call control node of the mobile communications network, the service request comprising a second indicator indicating that the service request is for the ongoing call currently handled by the WiFi network.

A method of handling a terminating circuit switched signaling service to a terminal in a mobile network is described. The signaling service is distinct from a call. The mobile network comprises a first control node and a second control node. The method is performed by the first control node. The method comprises receiving signaling information for terminating the circuit switched signaling service to the terminal, subsequent to the step of receiving, detecting that the terminal has requested a location update from a second control node of the mobile network, and, based on the step of detecting, forwarding the received signaling information to the second control node.

Handling a terminating circuit switched signaling service to a terminal in a mobile network

A method () is provided for a first network node () of ensuring validity of a service request. The method () comprises receiving (), from a second network node (), a first piece of information relating to a destination identifier of the service request; receiving (), from a communication device (), a request for the service, the request comprising a second piece of information relating to the destination identifier; and determining () the service request to be valid if establishing a correspondence of the first piece of information with the second piece of information, else determining the service request to be invalid.
