A mounting apparatus () for mounting a fan arrangement () on a seat (), for example a vehicle seat, features a cylindrical sleeve or installation element () which secures within the seat, and a fan housing () for the fan arrangement or module (), which slides into, and latches within, the cylindrical sleeve (). The fan housing () has a tubular housing part () having a first housing part end () and a second housing part end () located axially opposite it. The fan module () includes a centrally located fan () supported by a plurality of radial struts (), at least one of which serves as a channel () for power supply connecting wires (). Wire pass-through openings (') are configured to permit a partial rotation of the fan module () during installation into the cylindrical sleeve ().

A vehicle seat includes a pad of a seat cushion and/or of a backrest, a massage device having a plurality of pressurizable elements integrated into the pad in order to influence the contour of the seat and each of which can be controlled separately, and a control device for controlling the massage device, wherein, in addition to the massage device, a seat climate control system can also be controlled by the control device.
