An austenitic Ni-based alloy with improved workability, good corrosion resistance and good structure stability useful as heat exchanger tubing in sulphur-, chloride- or alkaline-containing environments. The material has an austenitic structure which contains in weight-% up to 0.025% C, 20-27% Cr, 8-12% Mo, up to 0.5% Si, up to 0.5% Mn, up to 0.3% Al, up to 0.1% N, 3-15% Fe, up to 0.5% Ti, up to 0.5% Nb, the remainder being Ni and usual impurities.

Cable lugs for connecting to conically shaped battery posts, such as the posts on an automobile storage battery, of a type which comprises a contact element of a relatively soft material, e.g. brass, having a sleeve which conforms to and is designed for connecting to a battery post. The sleeve is forced onto the post and a conical cap made of a relatively hard material, e.g. steel, which is configured to fit the sleeve, is pressed onto the sleeve of the contact element to press the sleeve against the side surface of the battery post.

Battery post cable connector

A removable blind rivet comprising a tube (1) with a head (3 or 6) on one end to contact one workpiece (11) of two workpieces (10 and 11) to be rivetted together, the other end (14) being upsetable against the other workpiece (10) by a pull pin (5) with a head (4) pulled into the tube, or by blasting an explosive charge (8) inserted in the other end (14) of the tube. The head is a removable nut (3) threaded upon the accessible end of the tube (1), or a spring washer (6) inserted in a slot (7) in the accessible end of the tube.
