An enamel composition, a method for preparing an enamel composition, and a cooking appliance are provided. The enamel composition may include 15 to 50 wt % of silicon dioxide (SiO); 1 to 10 wt % of boron oxide (BO); 10 to 20 wt % of at least one of lithium oxide (LiO), sodium oxide (NaO), or potassium oxide (KO); 1 to 5 wt % of sodium fluoride (NaF); 1 to 10 wt % of zinc oxide (ZnO); and 20 to 50 wt % of at least one of titanium dioxide (TiO), molybdenum oxide (MoO), bismuth oxide (BiO), cerium dioxide (CeO), manganese dioxide (MnO), or Iron oxide (FeO), which provides an enamel composition with a reduced cleaning time, and facilitates cleaning without soaking in water.

A composition for enamel may include 10 to 45 wt % of SiO; 1 to 10 wt % of BO, 10 to 20 wt % of one or more of NaO, KO, and/or LiO, 1 to 5 wt % of NaF, 1 to 10 wt % of ZnO, 5 to 15 wt % of TiO, 3 to 7 wt % of MoO, 5 to 15 wt % of BiO, 1 to 5 wt % of CeO, and 0.5 to 10 wt % of one or more of MnO, FeO, and/or CoO. The enamel composition may include silicon dioxide (SiO) at 25 to 50 wt %; boron oxide (BO) at 1 to 15 wt %; one or more of lithium superoxide (LiO), sodium oxide (NaO), or potassium oxide (KO) at 10 to 20 wt %; sodium fluoride (NaF) at 1 to 5 wt %; zinc oxide (ZnO) at 1 to 10 wt %; and one or more of titanium dioxide (TiO), molybdenum trioxide (MoO), bismuth oxide (BiO), or cerium dioxide (CeO) at 20 to 40 wt %, such that a heating time required for cleaning is shortened and cleaning is possible without carrying out a water soaking process.

A coating composition includes phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5), aluminum oxide (Al2O3), boron trioxide (B2O3), zinc oxide (ZnO), I group-based metal oxide, and II group-based metal oxide. The coating composition includes by weight based on a total weight of the coating composition 35 to 55% PO, 5 to 35% AlO, 5 to 40% I group-based metal oxide, 5 to 10% BO, 1 to 5% ZnO, and 1 to 10% II group-based metal oxide.

A glass composition formed of glass frit including PO, TiOand group I-based oxide, wherein POis contained in an amount of 20 wt % to 30 wt % based on a total weight of the glass frit, wherein TiOis contained in an amount of 10 wt % to 20 wt % based on the total weight of the glass frit, and wherein the group I-based oxide is contained in an amount of 15 wt % to 30 wt % based on the total weight of the glass frit.
