A plate heat exchanger includes heat transfer plates having openings at four corners thereof, having outer wall portions at their edges, and stacked together. The heat transfer plates are partially brazed together such that a first flow passage for first fluid and a second flow passage for second fluid are alternately arranged, with a heat transfer plate interposed between these flow passages, the openings communicating with each other, forming a first header allowing the first fluid to flow into and out of the first flow passage and a second header allowing the second fluid to flow into and out of the second flow passage. One heat transfer plate located between the first or second flow passage is formed by stacking two metal plates. Space between the metal plates includes a fine flow passage located within a heat exchange region, and a peripheral leakage passage outward of the fine flow passage.

A plate heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat transfer plates stacked together and each having openings at four corners thereof. The heat transfer plates are partially brazed together such that a first flow passage through which first fluid flows and a second flow passage through which second fluid flows are alternately arranged with one of the heat transfer plates disposed therebetween, openings at the four corners being connected forming first headers through which the first fluid enters and is discharged and second headers through which the second fluid enters and is discharged. At least one of two heat transfer plates between which the first flow passage or the second flow passage is disposed is formed by a pair of metal plates stacked together. The metal plate adjacent to the second flow passage is thinner than the metal plate adjacent to the first flow passage.

A plate heat exchanger includes heat transfer plates each of which has openings at four corners thereof, and which are stacked together. The heat transfer plates are partially brazed together such that a first flow passage through which first fluid flows and a second flow passage through which second fluid flows are alternately arranged, with an associated heat transfer plate interposed between the first and second flow passages. The openings at each of the four corners communicate with each other, thereby forming a first header and a second header, the first header allowing the first fluid to flow into and flow out of the first flow passage, the second header allowing the second fluid to flow into and flow out of the second flow passage.

Plate heat exchanger and heat pump device including the same

A heat exchanger and an air-conditioning apparatus that exhibit high performance, and also provide reliability in strength and corrosion resistance. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of fins each including a fin collar formed in a short cylindrical shape by perforating a flat base plate, the plurality of fins being stacked by serially connecting fin collars of the respective fins, the serially connected fin collars being bonded to form a conduit line and a fin core, the conduit line including a resin layer formed on an inner surface thereof. The heat exchanger also includes a reinforcing member having a length corresponding to a length of the conduit line from one end to the other end thereof, to improve rigidity of the conduit line.

Heat exchanger and air-conditioning apparatus

Provided is a heat exchanger capable of ensuring both heat exchange performance and reliability against corrosion. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of fins each having a flat plate shape, openings provided in each of the plurality of fins, and cylindrical parts arranged on outer peripheries of the openings, each having an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of each of the openings. The plurality of fins are stacked on one another with the cylindrical parts interposed between the plurality of fins. The openings and the cylindrical parts are configured to form a liquid passage pipe, and the openings protrude further inside than are the cylindrical parts.

Heat exchanger

In a plate heat exchanger, a bypass passage and a main passage are formed upstream of first passages and second passages between adjacent ones of first heat transfer plates and second heat transfer plates. The bypass passage allows first fluid flowing from an inflow port of the first fluid or second fluid flowing from an inflow port of the second fluid to pass a side farther than a corresponding one of adjacent holes while spreading in a vertical direction in a front view and then flow into an inner fin or a corrugated heat transfer surface. The main passage allows the first fluid flowing from the inflow port of the first fluid or the second fluid flowing from the inflow port of the second fluid to directly flow toward the inner fin or the corrugated heat transfer surface without routing through the bypass passage. A flat space is formed around an entire circumference of each of the adjacent holes, between a circumferential wall and the inner fin or the corrugated heat transfer surface.

Plate heat exchanger and heat pump heating and hot water supply system including the plate heat exchanger

A finless heat exchanger includes a pair of headers each including a pipe-shaped portion extending in a first direction, and branching portions formed on the pipe-shaped portion, and flat pipes each having a flat sectional shape elongated in one direction, the flat pipes being arrayed in the first direction and connecting the branching portions of the headers. Flat surfaces of adjacent two flat pipes face each other and the adjacent two flat pipes each have a side surface facing a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The flat pipes connect the branching portions, the side surface of each of the flat pipes has a wave shape, and adjacent flat pipes are prevented from contacting each other. Both the side surfaces are opened so that air flows in from a side corresponding to one side surface in the second direction and flows out from a side in the second direction.

Finless heat exchanger, outdoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus including the finless heat exchanger, and indoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus including the finless heat exchanger

A heat exchanger includes a first heat exchanging portion including first and second flat tubes stacked in parallel with each other and spaced from each other to allow fluid to pass between the first and second flat tubes, and a second heat exchanging portion including third and fourth flat tubes stacked in parallel with each other, spaced from each other to allow fluid to pass between the third and fourth flat tubes, and oriented crosswise to a direction in which the first and second flat tubes are oriented. The second heat exchanging portion is arranged downstream of the first heat exchanging portion with respect to flow of the fluid.

Heat exchanger and refrigeration cycle apparatus including the same

An outdoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes at least a heat exchanger, a fan, a compressor, and a box-like casing housing these components and having an air inlet and an air outlet. The compressor is arranged at a location other than an air passage in which air having flowed in through the air inlet flows through the heat exchanger and the fan to the air outlet. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat exchange portions, and these heat exchange portions are arranged in a zigzag shape.

Outdoor unit for air-conditioning apparatus

An outdoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes a heat exchanger, at least one fan, a compressor, and a box-shaped casing that houses the foregoing elements and has an air inlet and an air outlet. The compressor is provided at a position outside an air passage in which air taken in from the air inlet flows through the heat exchanger and the fan toward the air outlet. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat exchanger segments. The heat exchanger segments are arranged zigzag.

A multi-room air-conditioning apparatus includes an outdoor unit, a relay unit connected to an outdoor unit by first and second connection pipes, and a plurality of indoor units connected to the relay unit. The outdoor unit includes a second gas-liquid separating device provided on the suction side of the compressor. The suction side of the compressor and the second gas-liquid separating device are connected to each other by a gas-side outlet pipe and a liquid-side outlet pipe.

Multi-room air-conditioning apparatus

An air-conditioning apparatus in which a primary-side refrigerant in a two-phase gas-liquid state that has flowed into each of intermediate heat exchangers absorbs heat from a secondary-side refrigerant flowing in counterflow to the primary-side refrigerant, and evaporates and turns into a low-temperature, low-pressure gas state. The air-conditioning apparatus ensures high heat exchange efficiency even when a direction of a heat source-side refrigerant (secondary-side refrigerant) flowing through an intermediate heat exchanger changes, and enables an appropriate operation in any operation mode.

A refrigerating air-conditioning apparatus, at least provided with no possibility that a foreign material returns to a compressor from an accumulator at a time of the pipeline-cleaning operation firstly, and provided with a possibility to perform a collecting operation for the foreign material in a short time secondary, is provided. The heat-source side unit includes an accumulator provided with a function to separate and collect the foreign material in an existing pipeline, a collecting container for collecting the foreign material separated by the accumulator, and an oil return pipeline for returning refrigerating machine oil to the compressor via a flow amount adjusting device, installed at a lower portion of the accumulator, and at a time of ordinary cooling or heating operation, the refrigerating machine oil is caused to flow into the oil return pipeline, and at a time of pipeline cleaning and foreign material-collecting operations, the flow amount adjusting device is fully closed.

Refrigerating air-conditioning apparatus

In a four-way valve having a simple structure, even if a high-temperature refrigerant and a low-temperature refrigerant flow close to each other, heat loss between both refrigerants is suppressed. The valve comprises a housing member including a valve chamber, a valve seat including a bearing surface portion located in the valve chamber, a first channel through which a high-temperature fluid flows and a second channel through which a low-temperature fluid flows at a predetermined time, including openings adjacent to each other at a bearing surface portion of the valve seat, passing through the valve seat and extending outside of the valve chamber, and a valve element moving to the bearing surface portion of the valve seat. A thermal resistor portion suppressing heat transfer between these channels is located near the openings, between the first and second channels.
