A load sensor includes: a first base member and a second base member disposed so as to face each other; an electrically-conductive elastic body disposed on an opposing face of the first base member; an electrically-conductive member disposed between the second base member and the electrically-conductive elastic body; a dielectric body disposed between the electrically-conductive elastic body and the electrically-conductive member; and a component configured to change a contact area of the dielectric body in association with increase in a load, such that a form of change in capacitance between the electrically-conductive elastic body and the electrically-conductive member associated with change in the load becomes close to that of a straight line.

Load sensor

A load sensor includes: a first base member and a second base member disposed so as to face each other; an electrically-conductive elastic body disposed on an opposing face of the first base member; a wire member that is electrically conductive and disposed between the second base member and the electrically-conductive elastic body; and a dielectric body disposed between the electrically-conductive elastic body and the wire member. The dielectric body has a stress relaxation part for releasing stress applied to the dielectric body during load application.

Load sensor for detecting externally applied load based on capacitance variation

A load sensor includes: an electrode; a dielectric body disposed on a surface of the electrode; and an electrically-conductive elastic body having electrical conductivity and disposed so as to be opposed to the dielectric body. A plurality of projections are formed on a surface on the dielectric body side of the electrically-conductive elastic body, and the thickness of the dielectric body decreases in the plane direction from an initial contact position with respect to the electrically-conductive elastic body.

A load sensor includes: an element part in which capacitance changes in accordance with a load; a copper wire drawn from the element part in order to detect change in the capacitance; and a fixation tool configured to fix the copper wire to the element part. The element part includes an electrically-conductive elastic body that is electrically conductive and that forms one pole for the capacitance, and the fixation tool presses and fixes the copper wire to a surface of the electrically-conductive elastic body so as to be movable with respect to the surface of the electrically-conductive elastic body in accordance with elastic deformation of the electrically-conductive elastic body.

A load sensor includes: a first base member and a second base member disposed so as to face each other; an electrically-conductive elastic body disposed on an opposing face of the first base member; and a conductor wire disposed between the second base member and the electrically-conductive elastic body and configured as a plurality of element wires being twisted. Each element wire is configured as an electrically-conductive member which has a linear shape and of which the surface is covered by a dielectric body. A twist pitch of the plurality of element wires satisfies a conditional expression 'p≤12nd'. In the expression, p is the twist pitch of the plurality of element wires, n is the number of the element wires included in the conductor wire and d is the outer diameter of each element wire.

Capacitance-based load sensor for detecting externally applied forces

A mounted object detection device includes: a load sensor in which a plurality of sensor parts each configured to detect a load are disposed in a matrix shape; and a controller configured to detect a situation of a mounted object on the load sensor on the basis of an output from the load sensor. The controller: detects a load distribution on a detection region of the load sensor on the basis of an output from the load sensor; discerns which of a person or animal and a thing the mounted object is, on the basis of the load distribution; and when having discerned that the mounted object is a thing, discerns whether or not a person or an animal is mounted on the thing, on the basis of temporal change in the load distribution.

Mounted object detection device and vehicle control system

A load sensor includes: a base member being insulative and having elasticity; an electrode having elasticity and formed on an upper face of the base member; and a wire member being electrically conductive and disposed so as to be superposed on an upper face of the electrode, a surface of the wire member being covered by a dielectric body. A ratio of a thickness of the electrode to a thickness of the base member is not less than 0.02 and not greater than 0.3.

A load sensor includes: an electrode; a dielectric formed on a lower surface of the electrode; and a conductive elastic body disposed so as to face a lower surface of the dielectric and having conductivity. A plurality of projecting portions are formed on an upper surface of the conductive elastic body. The conductive elastic body has a bending shape that is bent in an up-down direction, in at least a part thereof. Alternatively, at least either the conductive elastic body or the electrode has a bending shape that is bent in an up-down direction, in at least a part thereof.

A resin component holding member is made of a metal material and holds a predetermined resin component. The resin component holding member includes, in at least a region with which the resin component can be in contact, a configuration for preventing alkaline residue caused by chemical treatment from permeating into the resin component.

Provided is a pressure-sensitive element having a relatively wide measurement range of a pressing force and a relatively simple structure while having more sufficient stretchability. A pressure-sensitive element includes a base material, a plurality of conductor wires, a plurality of dielectrics, and a filamentous member. The base material includes an elastic conductor having elasticity and conductivity. Further, the base material has a sheet shape. The plurality of conductor wires are arranged in parallel so as to individually intersect with the elastic conductor in plan view. Further, each of the plurality of conductor wires has a plurality of inflection parts. The plurality of dielectrics are arranged between the elastic conductor and the plurality of conductor wires. The filamentous member elongates so as to intersect with the plurality of conductor wires in plan view. Further, the filamentous member sews the plurality of conductor wires to the base material.

Pressure-sensitive element

An image display device includes: a light source; a screen on which an image is formed when light from the light source is applied thereto; an optical system configured to generate a virtual image by light from the screen; an actuator configured to move the screen in an optical axis direction; a position detector configured to detect a movement position of the screen; a servo circuit configured to cause the movement of the screen by the actuator to follow a target waveform on the basis of a signal from the position detector; and a correction circuit configured to reduce a deviation between a timing to move the screen by the servo circuit and a timing to form the image on the screen.

Image display device and driving device

An image display apparatus includes: a light source; a screen on which an image is formed when light from the light source is applied thereto; an optical system configured to generate a virtual image by light from the screen; an actuator configured to move the screen in an optical axis direction; a support base supporting the actuator; and a dynamic damper installed on a non-movable part on the support base.

Image display apparatus and optical device

An image display device includes: a light source emitting laser light; a screen on which an image is drawn by being two-dimensionally scanned by the laser light; a scanner causing the laser light to scan the screen; a light detector detecting a light amount of the laser light emitted from the light source; and a controller controlling the light source by changing a current value to drive the light source in response to a target light amount. The controller obtains a detection signal when driving the light source at a plurality of current setting values from the light detector, and corrects the current value with respect to the target light amount according to an arithmetic operation configured to suppress a difference between an output characteristic of the light source guessed by the obtained detection signal and a reference output characteristic.

Image display device

The disclosure provides a light source device and an image display device. The light source device includes a laser light source configured to emit laser light having a wavelength in a range from 635 nm to 645 nm inclusive, a temperature sensor configured to detect temperature around the light source device, and a laser control circuit configured to control the laser light source. The laser control circuit approximates, with use of a quartic expression, change in threshold current of the laser light source relative to temperature, and approximates, with use of a quadratic expression, change in slope efficiency of the laser light source relative to temperature, to obtain threshold current and slope efficiency of the laser light source corresponding to detection temperature of the temperature sensor, and controls the laser light source in accordance with the threshold current and the slope efficiency thus obtained.

Light source device and image display device

Image display device includes; light source; screen on which an image is drawn by being scanned two-dimensionally by laser light; scanner that causes the laser light to scan the screen; mirror drive circuit that chives scanner; and an optical system that generates a virtual image of the image drawn on screen. On screen, there are arranged a plurality of lens regions so as to be arranged individually in a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and mirror drive circuit sets a plurality of scan lines such that a pitch of the scan lines can become smaller than a pitch of lens regions in the second direction.
