A droplet jetting apparatus includes: a nozzle that ejects a jet of liquid droplets; a detector that detects a hand or an object in a flight path of liquid droplets from the nozzle; a pump including a suction portion for suction of liquid, and a discharge portion which is connected to the nozzle and discharges the liquid which has been sucked into the suction portion; a driver which by rotation of a cam, sucks liquid into the pump and discharges the liquid in a compressed state; and controller which actuates the driver. When the detector detects the hand or object, the controller actuates the pump by rotation of the cam, and ejects a jet of liquid in droplet form from the nozzle.

The provided is an electrographic type label printer to properly supply a roll paper to the printer, having a transfer portion of a toner image, a fixing portion, an unwinder that feeds a roll paper, a rewinder that takes up the roll paper, a conveyance mechanism, and slack detection sensors that detect a slack degree of a medium between the transfer portion and the fixing portion. The conveyance mechanism has a conveyance belt to be rotated while mounting the medium on an upper surface facing the upper side, and an intake mechanism for tightly fitting the medium to the upper surface of the conveyance mechanism. When selecting a mode to convey the roll paper, a paper feed unit controller controls passing speed at which the medium passes through a pass-through portion provided in the fixing portion in accordance with output signals from the slack detection sensors.

A seal member is described that is configured to prevent leakage of micro-powder from a rotating body such as a developing roller. The seal member of the rotating body of an image forming device using toner of the micro-powder includes base fabric consisting of knitting or fabric, loop-shaped pile yarn or cut-shaped pile yarn, which is supported on a surface of the base fabric by the entanglement or support of ground yarn of the base fabric, and a coating layer which has penetrated from a back surface of the base fabric to which a coating agent is applied to the side of pile yarn. A height of the coating agent which has penetrated from the back surface of the base fabric is the same as or less than a thickness of the base fabric which is configured by the height of the ground yarn which supports the pile yarn.

An end seal which prevents toner leakage by contacting an outer circumference of a developing roller, has a contact portion made of a sealing material of yarns including porous hollow fibers. The seal, made of hollow fiber, exhibits reduced repulsive elasticity during compression, and high hermeticity is attained in the yarns by applying only a relatively light load to such an extent that deformation is not formed in a pressure-applying supporting plate and the to-be-pressed developing roller, thereby maintaining seal integrity.

A powder particle lumping recording apparatus low in cost and high in printing quality is disclosed. Toner 12 having a magnetic property contained in a toner container 21 is conveyed by a developing roller 11 constituting a magnet roller, and jumped under the effect of the electric field controlled by a control electrode formed on an FPC 22. The toner 12 is accelerated by the acceleration voltage for the conductive roller 15, attaches on a recording material inserted between the control electrode 13 and the conductive roller 15, and thus forms an image. The conductive roller 15 contains a magnet 16 therein. With the approach of the magnet 16 to the control electrode 13 by rotation of the conductive roller 15, the toner 12 can be attracted off. The toner 12 attached on the surface of the conductive roller 15 is mechanically removed by a cleaning blade 17 and accumulated in a housing 18. The conductive roller 15, the cleaning blade 17 and the housing 18 make up an easily-demountable cleaning unit 19.
