An object of the present invention is to provide an electric motor which can prevent electric noise generated from a contact between a brush and a commutator from being radiated and diffused to the outside. An electric motor comprises: an armature shaft; a coilattached to the armature shaft; a commutatorattached to the armature shaft, and electrically connected to the coil; a brush through which an electric current is supplied to the commutator; a conductive shaft bearingconfigured to rotatably support the armature shaft; a yokeincorporated with the shaft bearing, and electrically connected to a ground conductor; a conductive shaft bearingarranged in a direction along a center line of the armature shaft, different in position from the shaft bearing, and configured to rotatably support the armature shaft; and a contact plateelectrically connected to the shaft bearing, and electrically connected to the ground conductor.
