A loop antenna device includes a loop antenna having a high noise resistance performance. In a loop antenna having a shield member covering a looped conductor portion formed in a loop shape from a conductive wire, a non-covered portion where the looped conductor portion is not covered is formed in correspondence with a portion of the conductive wire including a reference position for the symmetry of two terminals for connection between the antenna device and a reception circuit. This provides a balanced shield structure. Besides, a line for connecting one end of the conductive wire to the ground potential and a line for connecting the shield member to the ground potential are individually separate from each other, whereby reception of a voltage fall due to common impedance by the antenna is suppressed.

A digital broadcast receiver comprising frequency specifying element for specifying a receive frequency (frequency block), content type specifying element for specifying a broadcast content type, and control element for controlling signal reception with a specified receive frequency and controlling such that a digital broadcast having a specified broadcast (program) content is identified among and selected from a plurality of digital broadcast signal according to a set of broadcast content type information. The control element, when a changed receive frequency is specified by the frequency specifying element, controls the signal reception with the new receive frequency and, if a broadcast content had been specified by the content type specifying element before the receive frequency was changed, controls such that a digital broadcast signal with the broadcast content specified by the content type specifying element is selected from a plurality of digital broadcast signals received at the new receive frequency.

Digital broadcast receiver

A signal transmission system in which a variery of electronic apparatus which can transmit audio and/or video informations (AV informations) or the like are concentratedly installed is comprised of main control means for controlling a variety of electronic apparatus and sub-control means installed via cables within a plurality of sub-rooms so that the AV informations can be listened to and viewed through the main control means. In order to transmit much more informations within the narrow frequency band, the AV informations are allocated to predetermined channels and channel content information indicating the AV informations allocated to the respective channels and an owner information indicative of the sub-room of the owner who exclusively uses the electronic apparatus are frequency-multiplexed with the AV informations and transmitted. Therefore, data of a variety of sources can be transmitted within the narrow frequency band and a plurality of users can generally understand the present status of the limited sources and select informations, thus avoiding the system from being disturbed.
