In an audio processing device having a first output route and a second output route, to be able to reproduce the same audio signal as the first output rote at the second output route. A microcomputerconnects a Zonereproduction devicewith a DACfor a surround back by a switchand the DACfor the surround back with a surround back analog output terminalby a switchin case that the DSD data is reproduced at a Zoneoutput route.

Audio processing device

A pre-out terminal that outputs the audio signal is fixed. One of a surround back left audio signal SBL, a left outside audio signal LW, and a left upside audio signal LH is selected by a user operation, and output to a pre-out terminal. A determination which one of two signals except the pre-out terminal in the signals SBL, LW, and LH is included in multichannel audio data is made. When it is determined that the signal SBL is included, the signal SBL amplified by an amplifieris supplied to an SBL speaker terminal. When it is determined that the signal LW is included, the signal LW amplified by the amplifieris supplied to an LW speaker terminal. When it is determined that the signal LH is included, the signal LH amplified by the amplifieris supplied to an LH speaker terminal

Audio processing apparatus

In an audio processing apparatus of the present invention, one or two audio signals selected from a surround rear left audio signal, a left outer audio signal and a left upper audio signal is (are) amplified to be outputted from a speaker terminal(s) corresponding to this (these) channel(s) without necessity to provide amplifiers of all channels. When the surround rear left audio signal is included, a switch Sis turned ON to supply the surround rear left audio signal amplified by an amplifierto a SP terminal. When the left outer audio signal is included, a switchis turned ON to supply the left outer audio signal amplified by the amplifierto a SP terminal, or a switchis turned ON to supply the left outer audio signal amplified by an amplifierto the SP terminal. When the left upper audio signal is included, a switchis turned ON to supply the left upper audio signal amplified by the amplifierto a SP terminal

A switching section causes the first amplification section to amplify the expansion left audio signal and supply the amplified expansion left audio signal to the first speaker terminal and causing the second amplification section to amplify the expansion right audio signal and supply the amplified expansion right audio signal to the second speaker terminal when the Bi-Amp function is not used. The switching section causes the first amplification section to amplify the left audio signal for Bi-Amp and supply the amplified left audio signal for Bi-Amp the first speaker terminal and causing the second amplification section to amplify the right audio signal for Bi-Amp and supply the amplified right audio signal for Bi-Amp to the second speaker terminal when the Bi-Amp function is used.
