A coaxial connector includes a housing, and a bushing which is attached to the housing and on which the leading end of the coaxial cable is placed. In the coaxial connector, the housing includes a first circular cylinder and a crimping portion holding the bushing, the bushing is press-contacted to an insulation film by a force from the crimping portion, a socket includes a contact portion enclosed by the first circular cylinder and an attachment portion that is press-contacted to the insulation film by a force from the bushing and is connected to a second central conductor through cutting and removing part of the insulation film, and a minimum length from the center of the first circular cylinder to the crimping portion is longer than a maximum length from the center of the outer conductor to an outer edge of the receptacle.

Coaxial connector and connecting section

An L-shaped coaxial connector manufacturable at low costs includes a housing having a cylinder portion and a back portion. The cylinder portion includes a first opening and a second opening, and the cylinder portion is in contact with an external conductor of a receptacle inserted from the first opening. The back portion is connected to the cylinder portion and covers the second opening. The housing is made of a metal plate. The diameter of a part of a bushing contained in the cylinder portion is equal to or smaller than the diameter of the first opening. The housing further includes a crimping portion extending from the back portion. The crimping portion fixes the bushing to the housing by being bent so as to face the back portion with the bushing therebetween.

L-shaped coaxial connector

A housing includes a cylinder portion, a back portion, crimping portions, and supporting portions. The cylinder portion has a first opening, a second opening, and a cut and can be in contact with an external conductor of a receptacle inserted from the first opening. The back unit covers the second opening. Each of the supporting portions is disposed on the cylinder portion. Each of the crimping portions extends from the back portion and is bent so as to face the back portion such that the supporting portion is disposed between the crimping portion and the back portion. An elastic portion is disposed between the crimping portion and the supporting portion.

L-type coaxial connector

An L-shaped coaxial connector manufactured with a relatively small number of processes and a method of manufacturing the L-shaped coaxial connector are provided. A housing of the L-shaped coaxial connector is connected to an outer conductor. A bushing is attached to the housing. A socket is attached to the bushing, and the socket is insulated from the housing through the bushing. The housing includes a crimping portion. The crimping portion is bendable, in a state in which a part of the bushing is exposed, so that the crimping portion is in pressed contact with the bushing. The bushing is in pressed contact with the insulating film with a force from the crimping portion. The socket pierces the insulating film with a force from the bushing to connect to a center conductor of a coaxial cable.
