This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to using redundant frames for time-sensitive networking (TSN). A device may identify an Ethernet frame including a redundancy tag and an Internet Protocol (IP) packet; generate, based on the Ethernet frame, a first Wi-Fi frame including the redundancy tag and a sub-network access protocol (SNAP) header after an 802.11 medium access control (MAC) header and prior to the redundancy tag, the first Wi-Fi frame further including a first encapsulation of the IP packet; generate, based on the Ethernet frame, a second Wi-Fi frame including the redundancy tag and the SNAP header after the 802.11 MAC header and prior to the redundancy tag, the second Wi-Fi frame further including a second encapsulation of the IP packet; transmit the first Wi-Fi frame using a first Wi-Fi communication link; and transmit the second Wi-Fi frame using a second Wi-Fi communication link.

Enhanced redundancy over Wi-Fi for ultra-reliable wireless time-sensitive networking

Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to facilitate data transmission are disclosed. An examples apparatus includes a schedule controller to determine a first time corresponding to an end of a window for a data exchange; a data packet controller to determine a second time corresponding to an acknowledgement send during the window; a link performance calculator to calculate link performance based on the first time and the second time; and an interface to transmit the link performance to a network configuration entity.

Methods and apparatus to facilitate data transmission

A mobile communication device that is configured to cancel interference within received millimeter wave band signals. The device includes a receiver circuit that is configured to receive a millimeter wave band signal, adjust gain provided to the millimeter wave band signal at a first amplifier, cancel interference in millimeter wave band signal after gain is adjusted by the first amplifier, and adjust gain provided to the millimeter wave band signal at a second amplifier after interference is cancelled.

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to wireless time sensitive networking. A device may identify, using an 802.3 protocol stack, an 802.3 frame received from a second device using a wired Ethernet connection, and extract, using the 802.3 protocol stack, a redundancy tag from the 802.3 frame, the redundancy tag including a sequence number. The device may generate, using an 802.11 protocol stack, an 802.11 frame with a subnetwork access protocol (SNAP) field, the SNAP field including an organizationally unique identifier (OUI) and the sequence number, the OUI including an indication of an Ethertype protocol. The device may send the 802.11 frame using a wireless connection.

Frame replication and interfaces for time sensitive networking

Aspects of mmWave beam tracking and beam sweeping are described, for example, spatial searching operations, directional beam forming, complex channel measurement operations, and adaptive power savings. Some aspects include using priori information for mmWave beam tracking and beam sweeping. An apparatus of a wireless device, such as a user equipment (UE), can include processing circuitry configured to perform one or more of the handover-related techniques disclosed herein. For example, when associated with moving with a plurality of mobile devices from coverage of a first cell to a second cell, the processing circuitry can detect the second cell. One or more parameters of the second cell can be measured. The one or more parameters can be communicated to one or more other mobile devices of the plurality of mobile devices.

Devices in the system can discipline their internal clocks based on the collated time statistics.
