A linear compressor includes a mover which linearly reciprocates, a stator generating a driving force to allow the mover to linearly reciprocate and having a cylinder space formed on an inner circumferential surface thereof, a cylinder inserted into the cylinder space of the stator and having a compression space compressing a refrigerant, a piston reciprocating in an axial direction inside the cylinder, a frame provided on one side of the stator in an axial direction and supporting the stator in the axial direction, and a cylinder support member separated from the frame, provided between an inner circumferential surface of the stator and an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder, having one end fixed to the stator and the other end fixed to the cylinder, and supporting the cylinder with respect to the stator in the axial direction.

A linear compressor of the present invention comprises: a shell having a suction portion; a cylinder disposed in the shell and forming a compression space for a refrigerant; a piston arranged to axially reciprocate in the cylinder; and a spring device for inducing a resonant motion of the piston, wherein the spring device comprises a spring, a first supporter to which one side of the spring is connected and which moves together with the piston, and a second supporter to which the other side of the spring is connected, and each of the supporters has a coupling groove for fitting the spring therein.

A transverse flux type linear motor and a linear compressor having the same include: a stator core in which a plurality of stator sheets are laminated along an axial direction; a winding coil provided in the stator core to form an alternating magnetic flux in a transverse direction perpendicular to the axial direction in the stator core; a plurality of magnets fixedly coupled to a radial side surface of the stator core to have different magnetic poles alternately arranged along the axial and circumferential directions; and an integral mover provided with a radial air gap with respect to the plurality of magnets to reciprocate in an axial direction with respect to the stator core by a magnetic force formed on the magnet.

Transverse flux type linear motor and linear compressor having the same

A moving core type reciprocating motor is provided that may include a stator on which a coil may be wound and having an air gap; a magnet fixed to the stator; and a mover that includes a moving core disposed to face the magnet in the air gap and reciprocates with respect to the stator. The magnet may have a first pole and a second pole that are different poles arranged in a reciprocation direction of the mover, and a length of the first pole may be larger than a length of the second pole.

The transverse flux reciprocating motor may include a stator wound with a magnet coil, a mover inserted into the stator and coupled with a magnet having opposite magnetic poles in an orthogonal direction with respect to a magnetic flux generated by the magnet coil, and a magnetic resonance spring that allows the mover to perform a resonance motion with respect to the stator using a force trying to move toward a side with low magnetic resistance between the stator and the mover, whereby the transverse flux reciprocating motor and the reciprocating compressor having a transverse flux reciprocating motor may be reduced in size and weight and obtain high efficiency.
