A detachable or removable wash basket having a wash compartment for the receipt of articles for washing separately from a larger wash drum of the appliance. The wash basket is received upon an agitator of the washing appliance and includes a valve for draining wash fluid from the wash compartment. A lid can provide a sloped surface for delivery of water into the wash compartment and may be partially covered by a water retaining plate to prevent the flow of fluid from the wash compartment during a cleaning cycle.

Detachable wash basket for a washer appliance

A pill dispenser includes a housing and a slidable drawer with a dispenser cup therein. A storage cup is fixed within the housing. The pill dispenser also includes a movable probe, a flexible tip on the probe, and a suction pump in fluid communication with the flexible tip. The pill dispenser may be configured for and/or methods of operating the pill dispenser may include rotating the probe a position above the storage cup, translating the probe downward into the storage cup, and activating the suction pump. While the suction pump is active, the probe is translated to the position above the storage cup, rotated to a position above the dispenser cup, and translated downward into the dispenser cup. The suction pump is deactivated when the flexible tip is within the dispenser cup.

Pill dispenser for refrigerator appliance

A refrigerator appliance including a drawer lifting assembly is provided herein. The drawer lifting assembly may generally employ a motor to rotate a first linkage. The first linkage may be connected to a second linkage so that rotation of the first linkage causes movement of the second linkage. Movement of the second linkage may be constrained by interaction of a guide post connected to the second linkage and a horizontal rail on support frame assembly. This constraint may permit generally linear movement and pivoting of the second linkage. A basket may be connect to an end of the second linkage, wherein pivoting of the second linkage raises the basket.
