A method and system are provided for searching a search query having a non-character-based input. The method comprises receiving the search query comprising a first part and a second part. The first part comprises a non-character-based input. The method further comprises identifying a first plurality of keywords associated with the non-character-based input and receiving a selection of at least one of the first plurality of keywords. The method further comprises generating a modified search query comprising the at least one selected keyword and the second part. The method further comprises retrieving search results based on the modified search query and generating for presentation the search results.

Systems and methods are described for managing presentation of content. A determination may be made, based on user information related to the current media asset, whether the presentation of the current media asset is not likely to be of interest to the user. In response to determining that the presentation of the current media asset is not likely to be of interest to the user, a selectable option may be presented to skip current content (e.g., advertisement content, or another currently presented media asset) and start presentation of a next media asset (e.g., a selected media asset, or a media asset similar to the current media asset).

An extended reality environment including an object is generated for display, and a table of eyelid motion identifiers and corresponding actions performable on the object in the extended reality environment is stored in memory. An eyelid motion is detected by using a sensor, and the detected eyelid motion is matched to one of the stored eyelid motion identifiers. An updated version of the extended reality environment, based on the action that corresponds to the matched eyelid motion, is generated for display, in response to matching the detected eyelid motion to one of the stored eyelid motion identifiers.

Methods and systems for navigating content are provided. A method includes detecting an input to perform a content navigation operation in a display interface, the input designating a two-dimensional path in a content display interface. The method determines a forward or reverse direction for the content navigation operation and receives an input indicating the two-dimensional path within the content display interface. The length of the path is determined and the content is navigated based upon the determined direction and length of the two-dimensional path. A system comprising input circuitry configured to detect an input to perform a content navigation operation on a content, and a control circuitry programmed and configured for implementing the method is also provided.

A mapping application generates for display the map overlay at a first level of transparency depicting at least a portion of a route. The mapping application receives an indication of a current location on the route and based on the current location, detects an upcoming directional change on the route. In response to detecting the upcoming directional change, the mapping application adjusts the transparency of the map overlay to a second level of transparency.

The system receiving a version of a social media post from a sender, along with a list of target users, and generates one or more modified versions of the social media post based on the preferences of the target user. The system retrieves a plurality of the versions of the post and selects a version based on quality and other attributes. The selected version of the post is modified based on the target user's preferences. The system modifies, for example, text, images, or video of the post to generate one or more modified versions of the social media post. In other embodiments, the system may determine the number of modifications made to a post being shared, and compare the number of modifications against a modifying threshold.

Then the system calculates an adjusted average runtime for the activity based on the average duration and the intensity score and identifies one or more content items, the one or more content items having a total runtime equivalent to the adjusted average runtime for the activity. The system adjusts the playback speed of the identified one or more content items such that the total runtime of playback of the one or more content items matches the average duration for the activity and provides the one or more content items for consumption.

Product description data and/or product comment data associated with the product are obtained from a server via a communication network. Based on the product description data and/or product comment data, a product description template, comprising fields to be populated, is generated and stored in memory. Comment data associated with a product of interest is obtained from a server via the network. The comment data originates from a set of user accounts each having a similarity score with a target user account that is above a similarity threshold. Based on the set of comment data, comment-based description data are generated and stored in memory. Based on the product description template and the comment-based description data, a product description is generated for presentation for the target user account.

Systems and methods are described for facilitating adjustment of multiple variables via a content guidance application. The method comprises generating, for display via a graphical user interface of a touchscreen, a first axis defining a first scale for a first adjustment characteristic. The method further comprises detecting, via the touchscreen, a touch input having a component along the first axis for adjusting the first adjustment characteristic. A number of media signatures representing portions of a plurality of other content items may have been previously identified and stored. Systems and methods for resolving audio conflicts in extended reality systems. When multiple users speak at the same time, one user is selected to speak to the others. The audio output of each remaining speaker is not broadcast, but is instead converted to text which is displayed next to each speaker's avatar or other representation. Users are thus no longer subjected to confusion when multiple speakers each attempt to speak at the same time. Text may be displayed as an extended reality object that can be displayed in the proper perspective and orientation for each user. Displayed text may also be an interactive element of the extended reality environment, moving to avoid collisions with other elements or objects of the extended reality environment, capable of being manipulated by users, or the like.

System and methods for resolving audio conflicts in extended reality environments

A method of guiding perspectives in a multi-perspective content delivery system. The method includes receiving profile data associated with an end-user multi-perspective content consumption device and identifying a preference for content based upon the profile data. Multi-perspective content is transmitted to a device associated with the first profile data, the multi-perspective content representing a first perspective of a plurality of time-coincident VR perspectives. The VR system determines whether the first perspective correlates with the preference for content by at least a predetermined amount. In response to determining that the first perspective does not correlate with the preference for content by at least the predetermined amount, determining a second perspective of the plurality of perspectives that correlates to a greater degree with the preference for content than the first perspective, and transmitting from the end-user device a cue for recommending a change in perspective to the second perspective.
