A possibility is to be created of achieving the diagnosis of objects which are difficult to access. To this end, an apparatus and a method are proposed for producing a model findings object, in which image data or images of an original findings object are provided. Geometry data and one or a number of values for at least one material property are obtained from this image data. The model findings object is finally printed via a 3D printing method according to the geometry data with a material according to the value or values of the at least one material property. A physician can then diagnose the model findings object in addition to the images using palpation.

Method and apparatus for producing a model findings object

The invention relates to a method for generating on at least one display device a graphics display of data descriptors. The data descriptors, describing items of data, are arranged on an interactive timeline as interactive timeline elements along with interactive data elements. Provided is a method for accessing medical information. The medical information is distributed across data files. The method includes receiving data files relevant to the medical information, selecting a current layout from a plurality of layouts for making the data files accessible, providing previous layout information, referring to a previous layout in which the data file has been acquired, the previous layout information is usable for automatically adapting the current layout to the previous layout, detecting markers associated with the received data files, the markers referring to a location of interest within one of the received data files, adapting the markers of the previous layout to the current layout to mark the same location of interest, and providing access to the medical information in the selected current layout to make browsable the data files and the markers within the data files.

Findings navigator

A method for assisting the evaluation of medical image data is disclosed. In at least one embodiment of the method a current layout is displayed which presents a particular arrangement of image series or individual images which are generated using one or more data records. Further, at least one executable work step is displayed which has at least one associated further layout, wherein the further layout involves at least the arrangement being changed, and, in particular, other information from the data records or other data records are used for generating the image series or images. Finally, a check is automatically performed to determine whether execution of the displayed work step requires a layout change in which the current layout is replaced by the further layout, or the current layout can be retained.

Method and apparatus for assisting the evaluation of medical image data

A method is disclosed for controlling the display of activation elements for tools for editing medical data on a user interface in a computer-based, medico-technical system. In at least one embodiment, the activation elements are displayed in an activation element area, divided into various segments, of the user interface on the basis of the medical context. The doctor is thus able to select the tools clearly on a task- or indication-specific basis without an image data area of the user interface being concealed by the activation elements.
