Modifying a recipe for food based on a geographic origin of produce in the recipe is disclosed. A recipe is identified by a data processing system for a food dish, produce procured for the recipe from source(s), and determines a geographic origin where the produce was grown and an estimated transport time of the produce from the geographic origin to the source(s). A data processing system analyzes the recipe against ingredient(s) available to the user and aspect(s) of the produce, resulting in analysis result(s), modifies the recipe, resulting in a modified recipe based on the geographic origin, the transport time (may be estimated) and the analysis result(s), and makes available to the user the modified recipe.

A question is analyzed to determine a set of categories, a category corresponding to a type of possible answers responsive to the question. A set of opinions is extracted from social media data. Each opinion is from a corresponding responder on a social media platform to which the question is sent. An opinion from the set of opinions is categorized into a category from the set of categories. A strength of the opinion is computed using a subset of a set of strength parameters. The opinion is ranked according to the strength of the opinion. The opinion, the strength, and the category are presented in a filterable presentation.

A method, computer program product, and system includes a processor(s) obtaining content displayed to the user on a computing device communicatively coupled to an input device(s) and/or output device(s). The processor(s) analyzes the content, to identify portions that represent types of content and tags the identified portions with one or more generic tags. The processor(s) generates a sentiment profile of the user by identifying interests of the user and identifying subjects of past electronic communications by the user. The processor(s) maps sentiments in the sentiment profile, to topics, based on the interests and the subjects identified. The processor(s) identifies an identified portion of the content relevant to a topic(s) mapped to a sentiment. The processor(s) generates and implements a physical change to the input device(s) or output device(s) to elicit a sentiment from the user, where the sentiment is mapped to the topic(s).

A method, computer program product, and system for enhancing dynamically enhancing query results. A processor(s) monitors computing activities performed by a user, via a client. The processor(s) analyzes the computing activities to identify data comprising a user profile: elements relevant to the user and relationships. The processor(s) generates a knowledge graph with the data. The processor(s) obtains input from the user. The processor(s) executes one or more queries on one or more data sources to retrieve standard search results. The processor(s) analyzes the input and the search results to identify segments of the input and the search results relevant to items comprising the data in the graph and defines links between the items, the data, and the segments. The processor(s) generates contextual search results that include the standard search results, a portion of the items, and a portion of the links and transmits the contextual search results, to the client.

Dynamically enhancing query results

A system includes a distribution center for scanning mail intended for and received from clients in a community. The mail scanned for generating sender, recipient, type, and arrival data. Category data is generated and includes a payables category, a donation category, and a printed matter category. Client preferences data is also generated. The data is mined to find commonalities of mail sent to and received from clients. An action is invoked based on the mined data and it is determined that the action is a payables, donation, or printed matter action. If the action is either a payables or donation action then, a client and a third party are notified prior to execution of the action. If the action is a printed matter action then, then a printed matter shared by more than one client is presented for sharing.

Gathering and mining data across a varying and similar group and invoking actions

Activity by a particular user accessing content within an interface is monitored to identify points of interest within the one or more interfaces. Each of the points of interest identified within interface is mapped to a separate content element displayed within the interface to form a model correlating each separate content element with a user interest of the particular user. Based on the model, within a stream accessed for review by the particular user, a flow of a selection of entries of interest that meet the user interest is identified from among multiple entries in the stream. A tool is provided for document or design code completion. The tool includes a storage element in which common and user-specific unfinished work indicators are stored in first and second databases, respectively, a search element and a processor. The search element is disposed to identify unfinished work in documents by searching for matches of first text within the documents with second text of the common and user-specific work indicators in the first and second databases. The processor is configured to create a third database including the second text and pertinent sections of the documents. The pertinent sections are respectively associated with the second text and verifiably marked as unfinished by natural language processing of the first and second text by the processor. The processor is further configured to update the first and second databases based on results of the natural language processing.

Determining and assisting with document or design code completeness

Disclosed aspects include alerting a user of an indicated impact of a command using a weight for the command. Using a set of command data which indicates an impact of a first command, a first weight for the first command is established. By monitoring a user, a predicted execution of the first command is detected. By comparing the first weight with a threshold weight, a determination is made to provide an alert to the user. In response to making the determination, the alert is provided to the user.

Alerting a user of an indicated impact of a command

Participants for an in-progress meeting are gathered, preferably by broadcast of instant messaging notifications thereto. Information for people who are invited to a scheduled meeting but are not participating when the meeting begins, as well as for one or more additional people who are mentioned by the current participants of the meeting as desired new invitees to the in-progress meeting, is placed on a participant list. A disambiguation process may be used in cases where it is not clear who was intended in the discussion of a new invitee. Responses to the notifications are collected and used to populate a consolidated joining status window, where this joining status window depicts the joining status of persons on the participant list.

Gathering participants for meetings

Visual cues are provided for a user who is using a telephone for interacting with an automated telephone system. A number stream is created from the digits entered by the user with the phone keypad in response to audible prompts from the automated system. The visual cues comprise graphical representations (such as icons) that are inserted into the number stream to provide a quick visual indication not only of where the entered digits are delimited, but also what they represent. Thus, the user can quickly review the visual cues&#x2014;for example, while making subsequent decisions for the interaction. The visual cues are selected by locating keywords in the audible prompts and consulting a mapping data structure that identifies the visual cues to be used with particular keywords. Optionally, a textual summary of the interaction is created as well (e.g., when the interaction concludes).

Providing visual cues for a user interacting with an automated telephone system

Audio content is converted to text using speech recognition software. The text is then associated with a distinct voice or a generic placeholder label if no distinction can be made. From the text and voice information, a word cloud is generated based on key words and key speakers. A visualization of the cloud displays as it is being created. Words grow in size in relation to their dominance. When it is determined that the predominant words or speakers have changed, the word cloud is complete. That word cloud continues to be displayed statically and a new word cloud display begins based upon a new set of predominant words or a new predominant speaker or set of speakers. This process may continue until the meeting is concluded. At the end of the meeting, the completed visualization may be saved to a storage device, sent to selected individuals, removed, or any combination of the preceding.
