A gearbox operating system shifts between 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive. The system includes a reversible motor, and a reduction gear train that is configured to be driven by the motor to move a plunger between extended and retracted plunger positions that shifts gears. A printed circuit board has at least two Hall effect sensing circuits. A magnet is carried by the reduction gear train and is rotationally movable relative to the Hall effect sensing circuits. A first Hall effect sensing circuits provides a first output signal indicative of the extended plunger position. A second Hall effect sensing circuits provides a second output signal that is indicative of the retracted plunger position. A controller monitors the two Hall effect sensing circuits to determine if a desired plunger position has been achieved and trigger an error code if the desired plunger position has not been achieved within a predetermined response time.

Gearbox shift actuator for 4-wheel drive vehicle

A lever assembly. The assembly may include a lever, a shaft coupled to the lever for supporting pivotal movement of the lever, a magnet coupled to the lever, the magnet being configured to rotate upon pivotal movement of the lever, and magnetic field sensor positioned adjacent the magnet for providing an output representative to position of the lever.

Interchangable lever assemblies

A position sensor including a sensor assembly adapted to mount to a first rail of an automotive seat rail assembly. The sensor assembly includes a Hall device and a magnet. The assembly is mountable to the first rail to cause a first output of the Hall device when the first rail is in a first position relative to a second rail of the automotive seat rail assembly, and to cause a second output of the Hall device when the first rail is in a second position relative to the second rail.

Rail activated position sensor

A seat belt tension sensor for sensing tension in a seat belt. The sensor includes a main plate and a travel member moveable relative to the main plate against a spring force. A sensor provides an output in response to the relative movement indicative of the tension applied to the seat belt. The spring force may be provided by one or more leaf springs.

Seat belt tension sensor

A seat position sensor including a generally u-shaped housing and a cover disposed on the housing for blocking entry contaminants into a shunt opening of the housing. A sensor including mounting wings that flex upon mounting is also provided, as is a sensor including an integral connector, and a two-piece sensor configuration. A PCB including a heat throttle trace and a heat sink region, and a supply voltage circuit for a Hall Effect sensor including a parallel connected varistor are also provided.
