In various embodiments, a system, method, and related computer-readable storage medium to process data transactions are provided. In one example, a system is arranged to process data transactions in a data store including a plurality of databases. The system includes a computer interface module to receive a data transaction request from at least one requesting computer and a data access layer having one or more processors to identify at least one database in the plurality of databases. The data access layer is to define an abstraction layer between a computer interface module and the plurality of databases. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Managing data transaction requests

A system comprises a processor-implemented collection module configured to request rating information from a first user relating to a transaction involving the first user and second user in an online transaction processing environment. The requested rating information relates to performance of the second user with respect to the transaction in a plurality of performance categories. A score generator is configured to generate a performance score relating to the second user using the rating information. A communication module is configured to communicate the performance score.

Method and system for managing data transaction requests

In one embodiment, a method is provided for processing data transactions in a data store that includes databases. In this method, a data transaction request is received from a requesting computer. Different databases are then identified from the databases using a data access layer that defines an abstraction layer. The data transmission request is then split into multiple data transaction requests, and a part of these requests is then communicated to at least one of the identified databases.

The present invention is a system for and method to collect, calculate, and display user feedback ratings in an online transaction processing (OLTP) environment. The invention utilizes a client, a network, a Web site host system, and rule-based decision making, to 1) enable users and other systems to submit transaction performance information for a buyer or seller; 2) enable users to view transaction performance information; and 3) enable users to view detailed transaction performance measures for buyers or sellers within specific performance categories. Rating the transaction performance of users of an OLTP environment can serve to improve users' trust in the OLTP environment, improve the reputation of online trading venues, and increase the value of these venues.

System and method to provide and display enhanced feedback in an online transaction processing environment

A method and system is provided to process data transactions in a data store including a plurality of databases. The system may comprise a computer interface module to receive a data transaction request from at least one requesting computer and a data store interface module to interface the system to the plurality of databases. The system also includes a data access layer defining an abstraction layer to identify at least one database of the plurality of databases. The data transaction request may be an object orientated request and the plurality of databases may be horizontally distributed wherein the data access layer defines an object orientated abstraction layer between the computer interface module and the plurality of databases. In one embodiment a data dependent routing module is provided that generates a query to a database that is identified based on content of the data in the data transaction request.
