A power transmission assembly includes a first main bus including a first large bus bar and a first small bus bar. The first large bus bar is defined by a cross-sectional area larger than the first small bus bar. The first main bus defines a first axis passing through the first large bus bar and the second small bus bar. The power transmission assembly includes a second main bus including a second large bus bar and a second small bus bar. The second main bus defines a second axis passing through the second large bus bar and the second small bus bar, the second axis being substantially parallel to the first axis. The first main bus is located along a third axis substantially perpendicular to the first axis and passing through each of the first main bus and the second main bus.

Power transmission assembly

An electrical distribution panel includes a backplane, a circuit breaker comprising a load conductor for transmitting electrical power to a load, and a load sensing assembly comprising a load sensor operatively coupled to the load conductor for detecting an electrical load of the load conductor and generating a load signal proportional to the electrical load. The load sensing assembly is selectively positionable with respect to the load conductor at a plurality of fixedly secured positions on the backplane to facilitate positioning the load sensor with respect to the load conductor.

Methods and systems for electrical power sub-metering

Methods and systems for electrical distribution submetering are provided. The electrical distribution submetering system includes a modular load sensing assembly including a plurality of load sensors. The load sensing assembly further includes a first cable having a first cable termination connector, an interface board including a plurality of electrical terminations, at least some of the terminations electrically coupled to a second cable having a second cable termination connector coupled to at least one conductor of the second cable, the second cable termination connector being complementary to the first cable termination connector such that the first cable termination connector and the second cable termination connector are configured to be electrically coupled. The submetering system also includes a modular sub metering electronics communicatively coupled to the interface board, the modular sub metering electronics configured to determine a branch circuit load in the electrical distribution system using the detected electrical load.
