A unitary lanyard fixture made of a resilient plastic having a base section, hollow slider section and breakable connection therebetween. A hook for mounting an element to the lanyard fixture are also on the base section. The flexible lanyard cord is secured to an internal recess of the base section and also extends through the hollow slider section. Piercing prongs extend from this recess to lock the cord in the base section. A locking indentation and clamping hook holds the base section in a closed position. The hollow slider section is slidable on the lanyard cord and is connected by a frangible bridge to the base section.

Cord lanyard

A whistle including a body (10) having a resonating chamber (28) and a mouth piece (12) connected thereto includes a plurality of tone altering apertures (36) which extend to the chamber (28). A closure (40) is movably mounted on the body (10) between positions closing one, some or all of the tone altering apertures (36) so that the tone of the whistle may be selectively altered by selectively positioning the closure (40) in a desired one of its positions.

Whistle with tone changing rotator

A whistle having a whistle body (10) including two distinct resonating chambers (20), each with an opening (34) to the exterior of the whistle body (10) and a mouthpiece (14) in fluid communication with both of the chambers (20). At least one of the chambers (20) is provided with at least one additional opening (36) to the interior thereof.

Multiple tone whistle

A lanyard construction having two ends of a strap forming a closed loop of flexible material adapted to be disposed about a part of human body, including a mounting element formed of a body of elastomer. The mounting element includes a recess having the same cross sectional shape as the two ends in which the two ends are bonded to each other and to the mounting element by means of an adhesive.

Lanyard construction

A lanyard construction including a strap 10 forming a closed loop of flexible material adapted to be disposed about a part 20 of a human body, a mounting element 16 on the loop at a fixed location thereon for mounting an object 18 to be displayed or used by the wearer of the lanyard, and a breakaway element 22, 24, 26 defining a weak point whereat the loop may be open and be pulled free from the wearer.

Break away lanyard

An eyeglass holder including a temple receiving fixture formed of a body of elastomer and having an elongated slot through which the temple of an eyeglass may be passed along with a long narrow recess. An elongated strap having a long narrow cross sectional shape approximating that of the recess has an end disposed in the recess and is bonded to the recess by a bond therein. The invention contemplates that the bond may comprise an adhesive or a solvent weld.

Eyeglass holder

A plastic whistle including a main whistle body provided with a relatively narrow, elongated throat terminating at one end in a mouthpiece opening and at its other end, in an enlarged sound chamber. The throat and the chamber are open along a common side of the body. An orifice is located in the body and opens to the chamber and is disposed in the side of the body adjacent the common side mentioned above. A closure is provided for the common side and has a peripheral size and shape substantially the same as the periphery of the common side and mounts a tab extending partially into the throat so as to have opposite sides of the tab in abutment with opposed parts of the body at the mouthpiece opening to thereby support the body against an external clamping force applied by the teeth of a user of the whistle to prevent fracture of the throat.

Plastic whistle

An eyeglass holder having an elongated, flexible band terminated in opposed ends each having eyeglass receiving and holding fixtures, the fixtures comprising unitary elastomeric molded parts having disc-like portions and integral tail-like projections extending therefrom, the projections being considerably thicker than the disc-like portions and having elongated, temple-receiving, closed ended slots extending along the majority of the length of the projections, the end of the slot nearest the disc-like portions being spaced therefrom.

A decorative eyeglass holder of the type worn around the neck to suspend spectacles and including a long band. A pair of one-piece molded clasps are interlinked via the band and each has an elongated slot extending through a flexible head portion to receive a temple of the eyeglasses, a neck portion for attachment with the band, and an annular recess intermediate said head and neck portions. A hollow and spherical clamp depends from a connection with the recess to generally encompass the neck portion and to coact with the neck portion in fastening the band and clasp together.
