Proposed are a method and device for receiving an EHT PPDU on the basis of a tone plan in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a reception STA receives the EHT PPDU from a transmission STA through a 320 MHz band. The reception STA decodes the EHT PPDU. The EHT PPDU includes a control field and a data field. The control field includes information about a pilot tone. The information about the pilot tone includes allocation information indicating that a first pilot tone for the 320 MHz band is configured by repeating a second pilot tone for an 80 MHz band defined in an 802.11ax wireless LAN system. The first pilot tone is received in a data field on the basis of the allocation information.

An example according to the present disclosure relates to a technique for identifying a wireless LAN (WLAN) packet. For example, when a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) includes a legacy signal field, a field contiguous to the legacy signal field may be used to identify a type of the PPDU. A field contiguous to the legacy signal field may include information indicating that the PPDU is an extreme high throughput (EHT) PPDU. The field contiguous to the legacy signal field may include at least one of information related to a frame format, a transmission opportunity, an STA ID, and/or a bandwidth.

Proposed are a method and an apparatus for receiving an MU PPDU in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a receiving STA receives an MU PPDU from a transmitting STA. The receiving STA decodes the MU PPDU. The MU PPDU includes an LSIG field, an RL-SIG field, an HE-SIG field, and an EHT-SIG field. A first reserved bit of the L-SIG field includes information indicating that a first band in which the MU PPDU is transmitted is greater than 160 MHz. A second reserved bit of the HE-SIG field includes information relating to a second band in which the EHT-SIG field is transmitted or the size of the first band. The receiving STA includes an HE STA and an EHT STA.

In a wireless local area network system, a station (STA) may perform binary convolutional code (BCC) encoding on a data field. The STA may puncture the data field in a first puncturing pattern and may transmit a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) including a control field and the data field. In the first LTF symbol, the LTF sequence for the first to fourth spatial streams is mapped to tones in four tone units in a frequency domain. Proposed are a method and device for receiving a feedback frame in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a first STA transmits an NDPA frame to a second STA. The first STA transmits an NDP frame to the second STA. The first STA receives, from the second STA, a feedback frame transmitted on the basis of the NDP frame. The feedback frame includes information about a beamforming feedback matrix. The information about the beamforming feedback matrix includes a first bit for the index difference between quantized phi of adjacent subcarriers, and a second bit for the index difference between quantized psi of the adjacent subcarriers. The adjacent subcarriers are two adjacent subcarriers starting with the first subcarrier among all of the subcarriers. The first subcarrier is either the left edge subcarrier or the right edge subcarrier. The quantized phi and psi are information about beamforming angles.

If the RU information is tone plan information for the full bandwidth of the broadband, the RU information includes allocation information that the broadband is composed of 12 guard tones, 4068 tones RU, 5 DC tones, and 11 guard tones. A method and an apparatus for transmitting a PPDU in a WLAN system are proposed. Specifically, a transmitter generates a PPDU and transmits the PPDU to a receiver. The EHT field is configured on the basis of a CSD value of each transport chain. The CSD value is determined as a candidate CSD value in which the sum of a first absolute value and a second absolute value is the minimum on the basis of a power ratio. The power ratio is a ratio of a received power of the VHT-STF, the HE-STF, or the EHT-STF to a received power of the data field. The first absolute value is an absolute value of a value related to 5 percent of a CDF relative to the power ratio. A method and a device for transmitting a PPDU in a WLAN system are proposed. Specifically, a transmission device generates a PPDU and transmits the PPDU to a reception device through a 320 MHz band. The PPDU includes a legacy preamble and an EHT field, and the legacy preamble includes an L-STF and an L-LTF. The legacy preamble is generated by applying a first phase rotation value or a second phase rotation value. The first phase rotation value is obtained based on a third phase rotation value and a fourth phase rotation value. The third phase rotation value is a phase rotation value obtained by repeating a phase rotation value defined when the PPDU is transmitted in an 80 MHz band four times. The fourth phase rotation value is a phase rotation value defined for each 80 MHz band in the 320 MHz band based on an optimal PAPR of the L-STF.
