Disclosed is an electrical junction box including a case, and a block housed in the case. The case includes a frame, and a lower cover attached to a lower end side of the frame a joint part part of an outer wall of the frame and an outer wall of the cover an upper end of the outer wall of the lower cover is positioned more inwardly than a lower end of the outer wall of the frame and nearly the same height as a component insertion plane. At an edge portion of the block is disposed a waterproof barrier located between the component housing of the block and the joint part part and extending below the component insertion plane of a lower end of the component housing.

Electrical junction box

Provided is a round terminal fixation structure which can easily install a round terminal at a fixation position and prevent assembling failure. The round terminal fixation structure fixes the round terminal connected to an end of an electric wire to a bus bar in an overlapping fashion by a bolt. The round terminal includes a bolt insertion portion having a first through-hole for passing the bolt and a core wire crimp portion crimping a core wire of the electric wire. The bus bar includes a flat plate portion having a second through-hole for passing the bolt and a standing piece extending perpendicularly from the flat plate portion and configured to abut on the core wire crimp portion when bolting the round terminal to prevent rotation of the round terminal. A distal end of the standing piece is slanted towards the flat plate portion with distance from the second through-hole.

Round terminal fixation structure

An electrical junction box provides a frame and a cover that covers an opening portion of the frame. There is a difference of elevation in an edge of the frame, and the edge includes a lower portion, a higher portion, and an inclination portion. A double wall formed of an exterior wall and an interior wall and positioning the edge of a peripheral wall between the exterior wall and the interior wall is provided to the cover. There is a difference of elevation in the edge of the interior wall similarly the frame, and the edge includes the lower portion, the higher portion, and the inclination portion. Also, a lapping amount between the peripheral wall and the interior wall at the inclination portion is formed larger than a lapping amount at the lower portion.

A harness outlet through which a wiring harness is passed is provided on a sidewall of a case of an electrical junction box. A harness guide is extended form a circumference of the harness outlet to protect the wiring harness and to regulate a path (outlet direction) of the wiring harness. At a side near the harness outlet, the harness guide covers a whole circumference of the wiring harness. At a side away from the harness outlet, the harness guide covers both sides and an upper portion of the wiring harness, and a portion for covering the lower portion of the wiring harness is not provided on the harness guide.

Provided is an electrical junction box which can easily attach a block to an inner side of a frame without the need for visual positioning of a lock portion of the block and a lock receive portion of the frame. An electrical junction box includes a frame and a block to be attached to an inner side of the frame. The block includes a lock portion, and the frame includes a lock receive portion to which the lock portion engages. Four faces of the frame arranged to surround the block include a tapered face for guiding the block to a proper attachment position. The frame includes a double wall including an outer wall and an inner wall, and a rib connecting the outer wall and the inner wall. The rib is extended above the inner wall, and the tapered face is provided to an extended portion of the rib.

There is provided a bolt support structure which can absorb displacement of a bus bar and prevent the bus bar from bending during fastening of bolt, having a bolt including a head portion and a shaft portion and a mount portion to which the head portion is mounted movable in an axial direction of the shaft portion. The mount portion includes a bottom and upper plates between which a large-diameter portion of the head portion is positioned. The shaft portion and a small-diameter portion of the head portion are passed through a notch of the upper plate. A gap between the bottom and upper plates is larger than the thickness of the large-diameter portion. After the head portion is mounted to the mount portion, the nut is attached to the shaft portion so that the bus bar and the terminal clamp are sandwiched between the head portion and the nut.

When cleaning water hits a lower wallof a first waterproof portionof an upper cover, and the water is thrown up to the upper cover, a tapered outer wallof the first waterproof portionand a tapered inner wallof the first waterproof portioncome into contact with each other, and are engaged with each other to close an entrance side of a tiny passage. Even if the water enters, the water enters a blind passageto reduce the force of the water. The water of which force is reduced falls down. It is effective for improving waterproof performance to reduce the force of the water by the blind passage

An electric junction box for preventing brackets, while inclined to each other, from being fastened together, comprises a first cassette block and a second cassette block. Brackets of the first block and the second block are stacked onto each other, a bolt is passed through each of the through holes, and the blocks are fastened together. A metal collar formed tubular in nearly eclipse cross-sectional shape is also attached to inner surfaces of the through holes formed into nearly ellipse cross-sectional shape. Each of the collars is attached to each of the brackets so that long axes of the collars intersect to each other.

Electric junction box

A bus bar edge structure of an electric junction box having a junction block main body, a bus bar-receiving gap arranged on the junction block main body, and a space communicating with the bus bar-receiving gap and arranged in a thickness direction of the bus bar includes a projection piece projecting from an edge of the bus bar at an opening side of the space in the thickness direction of the bus bar. An electric wire led from the junction block main body is guided to the projection piece so as to prevent interference with the edge of the bus bar. The projection piece functions as a press-operating portion configured to insert the bus bar into the bus bar-receiving gap. The projection piece is positioned in an opening of a longitudinal groove arranged in the space so as to prevent the electric wire from entering into the opening.

An electric junction box for preventing rattle between cassette blocks assembled to each other before being fixed to main body case, includes a first cassette block a second cassette block configured to be assembled to each other by locking structure, an electric distribution member for distributing power to the second cassette block from the first cassette block. The electric distribution member includes an input power source line, and a pair of connectors connected with both ends of the input power source line and engaged with the lower surface of the first cassette block and the lower surface of the second cassette block, respectively. A direction of drawing the input power source line out of each of the pair of connectors is arranged perpendicular to a direction engaging the pair of connectors with the first cassette block and the second cassette block.

The case includes a case main body, a cove mounted at the case main body, and lock members fixing the case main body and the cover by supporting one end of the lock member rotatably at the cover and hooking the other end of the lock member at a lock portion provided at the case main body. The lock members are arranged between one ends of the case main body and the cover and between the other ends of the case main body and the cover. A fat surface portion, on which an edge of the cover is overlapped, and a recess formed by cutting a part from the flat surface portion so as to make a gap between the edge and the case main body when the case main body and the cover are fixed by the lock members are provided at the case main body.
