A display driving circuit includes a control logic, a source amplifier, and first and second switching elements. The source amplifier includes a first input terminal, a second input terminal, and an output terminal, and amplifies a pixel voltage for displaying an image on a display panel and provides the amplified pixel voltage to a pixel through a data line. The first switching element is connected between the first input terminal and the output terminal, and the second switching element is connected between the first input terminal and the sensing line. The control logic controls the first switching element and the second switching element such that the source amplifier compares a sample voltage that is input to the first input terminal through a sensing line with a comparison voltage input to the second input terminal and outputs comparison data based on the comparison.

Display driving circuit and display device including the same

A display device includes pixels arranged in rows and columns, a scan driver, and a read-out circuit, wherein the read-out circuit is configured to read-out electrical properties of a pixel through the read-out line. A display device is provided. The display device includes: a pixel array including pixels connected to gate lines and source lines; and a driving circuit configured to: apply gate signals to the gate lines and provide data signals to the source lines during a first scan period such that horizontal periods of the gate signals do not overlap each other, and apply the gate signals to first gate lines, of the gate lines, connected to pixels in a first area of the pixel array in a different manner from second gate lines, of the gate lines, connected to pixels in a second area of the pixel array for a portion of a second scan period, provide the data signals to the source lines, and maintain a low-biased state or an off state for a remaining portion of the second scan period.

In a backlight apparatus, a master driving circuit generates a transmission frame including a training period including a clock training pattern and a data period including a plurality of data packets respectively corresponding to the plurality of blocks. A plurality of slave driving circuits correspond to the plurality of blocks, respectively, and are connected to the master driving circuit in a daisy chain structure. Each slave driving circuit receives the transmission frame through the daisy chain structure, recovers a clock based on the clock training pattern, and drives the plurality of light emitting elements included in a corresponding block among the plurality of blocks based on its own data packet among a plurality of data packets.

Backlight apparatus and operating method thereof

A backlight system includes a plurality of pixel ICs respectively including a plurality of channels connected to a plurality of LEDs and that control the LEDs to be turned on and off through the channels, and a driver IC connected to the pixel ICs and that supplies a data signal to each of the pixel ICs. The pixel ICs include a first pixel IC connected to first LEDs and a second pixel IC connected to second LEDs. The first pixel IC turns the first LEDs on or off in a first order based on first control data included in the data signal, and the second pixel IC turns the second LEDs on or off in a second order different from the first order based on second control data included in the data signal.

The integrated circuit panel includes: a driving circuit array including first and second driving circuits; a data driver configured to output first and second input data signals through first and second data lines, respectively; a switch driver configured to output a switching signal through a switch line; and an error detection driver configured to receive first and second output data signals through first and second test lines, respectively, wherein, in response to the switching signal, the first and second driving circuits are configured to output the first and second output data signals, which are based on the first and second input data signal, through the first and second test lines, respectively, and the error detection driver is configured to detect a fault of the first or second driving circuit based on the first or second output data signal.
