The present disclosure generally relates to systems and methods of using water output from a fuel cell system to aid in heat dissipation and evaporative cooling of radiators.

Systems and methods to utilize water output of fuel cell systems for evaporative cooling of radiators

An electric power generation system () is disclosed, which includes an electric power generator () driven by a four-cycle internal combustion engine (). The engine () includes a plurality of reciprocating cylinders (C-C) each rotatably coupled to a crankshaft (), which drives the electric power generator (). A controller () is included that is operable to control fueling to start the engine () as a function of engine temperature and determine initial engine start-up as a function of rotational engine speed. This controller () regulates engine acceleration until a target engine speed is reached from initial start-up. Once this target speed is reached, the controller () provides a speed governor function.
