A movable toy animal having legs that are controlled by a motor operated teeter-totter assembly. The motor is bi-directional and sequentially moves the legs in opposite directions to move the animal in a forward walking, running or turning direction. Various switches and mechanisms are provided to obtain the desired movement by a battery operated program controller.

Walking toy figure

A toy animal mounted on 4 spring legs to permit movement of the animal in response to the rotation of an eccentrically mounted weight. This weight is mounted in the front body portion about a shaft disposed transverse to the body portion. The shaft is driven by a reversible motor, the speed and direction of which is controlled by a program controller.

Bouncing and moving toy figure

A toy character having a body portion and a pair of legs operated by motor operated linkages that are controlled by a microprocessor. The microprocessor functions to move the legs in unison between sitting and standing positions or move the legs in opposite directions. The character thus functions to bounce and dance.

Bouncing and dancing toy figure

A doll that includes a pair legs pivotally attached to a torso. The torso having a front side and backside. A pair of motor mechanisms separately attached to each leg for pivoting the legs forwards and backwards in accordance to a set of pre-programmed positions that moves the doll from a first orientation to a second orientation. The movement may be defined as rolling the doll from its front side to its backside and vice versa, as well as moving the doll to a standing position and walking the doll while it is standing.

The present invention includes a toy figure that is hinged at the waist. The hinged waist permits the figure to pivot or move the top half of the body relative to the bottom half. A control mechanism controls the movement such that the figure will move from a standing position through a &ldquo;somersault&rdquo; ending back in a standing position again. In other embodiments the control mechanism can stop the movement or pose the figure in a position, such as a &ldquo;headstand&rdquo; or a position prior to a headstand. When the figure stops the movement prior to a headstand, the figure can prompt a user to assist the figure in completing the headstand. When the user helps the figure in completing the headstand, the figure could continue to perform a somersault or flip over.

Somersaulting figure

An interactive toy in accordance with the present invention includes two pair of legs extending outwardly and downwardly from either side of a body to be in contact with a surface. Each pair of legs is rotatably attached to a motor. The toy also includes a sound activation device in communication with an integrated circuit. The integrated circuit is further in communication and control of the motors such that when the sound activation device is activated, the integrated circuit controls the motors to rotate the legs. The direction of the rotation of the legs will cause the toy to move along the surface in a predefined direction, defined as forward, reverse, or spinning to the right of left.

Interactive toy

The present invention includes a toy figure having a torso connected to a first leg and a second leg. A first motor is secured in the torso and is in communication with a first gear train, which is meshed to a fastener in the first leg, such that when the figure is in a standing position, the first motor causes the torso to move in relation to the first leg. A second motor is secured in the second leg and is in communication with a second gear train, which is rotatably attached to the torso such that when the figure is in the standing position, the second motor causes the second leg to move in relation to the first leg along the axis. A circuit board has pre-programmed instructions that when the figure is in the standing position controls the motors such that the figure walks across the surface.

The present invention includes a doll defined by an upper half hingedly attached to a lower half. A spring means attached to the upper and lower halves resiliently place the halves in a substantially planar position. A locking mechanism is included for retaining the halves in a substantially non-planar position, when the locking mechanism is engaged. A motor means is also attached to the upper and lower halves for moving the halves in a substantially non-planar position. When the motor means moves the upper and lower halves a predetermined distance, the locking mechanism engages and the upper and lower halves are maintained in the substantially non-planar position. The doll may be moved from a standing position into a sitting position; from a sitting position into a laying position; a laying position into a sitting position and a laying position into a laying position with the lower half angled upwardly.
