A display device includes a display module including a first non-folding area, a folding area, and a second non-folding area, which are arranged in a first direction, a cushion layer disposed under the display module, and a supporter disposed under the cushion layer. The folding area is disposed between the first and second non-folding areas. A groove that overlaps the folding area and extends in a second direction crossing the first direction is defined in the cushion layer.

A flexible display device includes a flexible display module including a flexible display panel; a first frame and a second frame supporting the flexible display module; and a fixing coupler and an aligning coupler coupling the flexible display module with the first frame and the second frame, and the fixing coupler includes: a first fixing coupler fixing at least a portion of the first frame and at least a portion of the flexible display module; and a second fixing coupler fixing at least a portion of the second frame and at least a portion of the flexible display module, and the aligning coupler includes: a first aligning coupler fixed to another portion of the flexible display module; and a second aligning coupler fixed to another portion of the first frame and detachably coupled to the first aligning coupler.

Flexible display device

A display module includes a display panel, a protective film, and an adhesive layer. The display panel includes a non-display area adjacent to a display area. The protective film is under the display panel, and the adhesive layer is between the display panel and the protective film. The protective film is or includes a polyethylene terephthalate film having a glass transition temperature equal to or greater than about 95° C.
