To authenticate account information received from an electronic device, a cloud server receives the account information to be authenticated and a request for the authentication from the electronic device; obtains authentication information for user authentication from user data corresponding to the account information; obtains correct answer data and incorrect answer data based on the authentication information; generates first problem information including first question information and first option information for the user authentication based on the correct answer data and the incorrect answer data and transmits the first problem information to the electronic device; receives a user input in response to the first option information from the electronic device; and determines whether the authentication is successful based on whether the user input corresponds to a correct answer.

Cloud server for authentication user and operating method thereof

A server, one or more electronic devices and method thereof are disclosed. The server provides cloud-based services and includes a communication module, a memory and a processor. The electronic devices further include a display. Both are operable to implement the method, including the server receiving input data including coordinate information from the device(s), the server determining whether the coordinates include a set of adjacent coordinates disposed within a threshold distance of each other, the server generating setting information if so, and transmitting the setting information and coordination information to the devices. The devices display a screen based on data received from the server, generate coordinate information based on user inputs, transmit input data including the coordinate information to the server, and display an object.

Cloud server supporting co-editing between electronic devices and operating method thereof

A method and electronic device for providing a personalized service as disclosed. The electronic device may include a communication unit and at least one processor, which implements the method, including generating a user profile based on a use history of the electronic device, receiving a service profile from a service provider and comparing the user profile and the service profile to detect a similarity, and displaying recommended information related to the service profile for which the detected similarity is equal to or greater than a reference value.
