A display device includes a first driving transistor of a first subpixel, a second driving transistor of a second subpixel, a first shield metal, a second shield metal, a buffer layer, and an interlayer insulating film; a first source electrode included in the first driving transistor is positioned on or over the interlayer insulating film and electrically connected to the first shield metal through first holes in the interlayer insulating film and the buffer layer; a second source electrode included in the second driving transistor is positioned on or over the interlayer insulating film and electrically connected to the second shield metal through second holes in the interlayer insulating film and the buffer layer; a welding repair line is positioned between the buffer layer and the interlayer insulating film to overlap with at least a part of the first shield metal and be electrically connected to the second source electrode through a hole in the interlayer insulating film.

Disclosed is an electroluminescent display device comprising a substrate, a circuit device layer including a signal line on the substrate, a bank defining a first emission area and a second emission area on the circuit device layer, and a first emission layer in the first emission area, and a second emission layer in the second emission area, wherein the first emission area is overlapped with the signal line, and a width of the first emission area is the same as or less than a width of the signal line.

An electroluminescent display and a method of driving the same are disclosed. The electroluminescent display includes a driving transistor configured to generate a driving current depending on a gate-source voltage, a storage capacitor configured to store a data voltage and provide the stored data voltage to a gate electrode of the driving transistor, a first switching transistor configured to control a gate potential of the driving transistor, a second switching transistor configured to control a source potential of the driving transistor, a light emitting diode configured to emit light in response to the driving current generated from the driving transistor, and a third switching transistor configured to electrically float a source electrode of the driving transistor and an anode electrode of the light emitting diode when one of the first and second switching transistors is turned off.

Electroluminescent display and method of driving the same

In one aspect, there is an organic light emitting display comprising: a display panel including subpixels; a data driver that supplies a data signal to the display panel; a scan driver that supplies a scan signal to the display panel; and a sensing circuit unit that measures the threshold voltages of driving transistors through sensor transistors of the display panel and prepares compensation data, wherein the scan driver turns on the sensor transistor of a selected subpixel to measure the threshold voltage of the driving transistor of the selected subpixel during a vertical blank interval of the display panel, and turns on the sensor transistors of non-selected subpixels to supply voltages below the threshold voltage of organic light emitting diodes to the non-selected subpixels during an image display interval of the display panel.

Organic light emitting display with sensor transistor measuring threshold voltages of driving transistors

This disclosure relates to a display device that compensates for a threshold voltage of a driving TFT, a voltage drop of a supply voltage source, and a mobility of the driving TFT. The display device can include a plurality of pixels. At least one pixel can include components such as a first capacitor, a second capacitor, a data transistor, a control transistor, an emission transistor, an initialization transistor, a driving transistor and a light emitting diode (LED) among other components.
