An electronic device may include: a battery, a resonant circuit including a receiving coil, at least one capacitor and at least one switch, a rectifier circuit; a DC/DC converter, a charge control circuit; and a controller, wherein the controller may be configured to check the voltage outputted from the rectifier circuit, control the at least one switch so that the receiving coil and the at least one capacitor form a serial resonant circuit, if the voltage output from the rectifier circuit is greater than or equal to a threshold voltage, and control the at least one switch so that the receiving coil and the at least one capacitor form a parallel resonant circuit, if the voltage output from the rectifier circuit is less than the threshold voltage.

A wireless power transmission device is provided. The wireless power transmission device includes a transmission coil including a first member, which has one end and the other end forming a first angle with a plane, and a second member, which is arranged on the plane and is connected to each of the one end and the other end of the first member, an impedance sensor for outputting a voltage value corresponding to an impedance change amount of a resonance circuit, which includes the transmission coil, a magnetic body having a side surface that is dented, the dented side surface facing a portion of the transmission coil, a motor for moving the magnetic body, memory storing one or more computer programs, and one or more processors communicatively coupled to the memory, wherein the one or more computer programs include computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors individually or collectively, cause the wireless power transmission device to receive the output voltage value from the impedance sensor, calculate the difference value between a reference voltage value and the received voltage value, determine control information about the motor on the basis of the calculated difference value, and drive the motor through the determined control information so as to control the distance between the magnetic body and the portion of the transmission coil.

Wireless power transmission device and operating method therefor

The disclosure provides an electronic device and a method for controlling wireless charging in the electronic device. An electronic device includes: a sensor, a battery, a resonance circuit configured to wirelessly receive power, a rectification circuit configured to rectify an alternating current (AC) power provided from the resonance circuit into a direct current (DC) power, a DC/DC converter configured to convert the DC power provided from the rectification circuit to output a converted power, a charging control circuit configured to charge the battery using the converted power provided from the DC/DC converter, and a controller, and the controller may be configured to: identify movement information of the electronic device corresponding to a value sensed via the sensor, identify a voltage value of the DC power rectified via the rectification circuit, and control an output of the DC/DC converter based on the movement information and the voltage value.

The disclosure provides a wireless power transmitting apparatus and a method for wirelessly transmitting power by the wireless power transmitting apparatus. The wireless power transmitting apparatus according to an example embodiment comprises: a power amplifier; a coil connected to the power amplifier and configured to generate an electromagnetic field based on power received from the power amplifier; an impedance sensing circuit connected between the power amplifier and the coil; at least one auxiliary coil electromagnetically coupled to the coil; and a controller, wherein the controller may be configured to: identify a change in impedance, from a signal sensed through the impedance sensing circuit, and adjust an operation setting of the at least one auxiliary coil based on the identified change in impedance.

A wireless power transmitter may include a power amplifier configured to output an amplified signal based on an input signal and a driving voltage, a first LC resonant circuit connected in parallel to the power amplifier, a matching circuit, and a transmission coil connected to the matching circuit. A wireless power transmitter of the disclosure may include: a housing; a power amplifier disposed inside the housing; a first resonator including at least one coil and fixed to a first portion of the housing; a second resonator including at least one coil, rotatably disposed at a second portion of the housing, and configured to form a variable angle with the first resonator; a sensor configured to sense a shape change based on rotation of the second resonator; a controller configured to: identify a shape change of the first resonator and the second resonator based on a signal sensed by the sensor, identify whether impedance is matched for the first resonator or the second resonator based on the identification of the shape change, and generate a control signal for impedance matching for the first resonator or the second resonator based on identifying that the impedance is not matched; and a matching circuit including at least one coil and at least one capacitor, electrically coupled between the power amplifier and the first resonator, and configured to perform impedance matching based on the control signal received from the controller.

An example wireless charging device includes a wireless charging device body and a wireless power transmitting device disposed on the wireless charging device body. A wireless power transmitting device includes: a transistor configured to output a signal corresponding to a set operating frequency, based on an input signal and a driving voltage; a matching circuit connected with the transistor; a transmission coil connected with the matching circuit; an LC resonance circuit connected in parallel between the transistor and the matching circuit and configured to transfer a signal corresponding to at least one harmonic frequency of the operating frequency; and an impedance sensing circuit connected with the LC resonance circuit and configured to sense a load impedance of the wireless power transmitting device based on the signal corresponding to the at least one harmonic frequency transferred through the LC resonance circuit. The matching circuit is configured to provide impedance matching with the sensed load impedance by adjusting an impedance of the matching circuit or an impedance of the transmission coil.

According to various embodiments, a wireless power reception device for receiving wireless power from a wireless power transmission device may include a first circuit, a first rectifier circuit, a detuning circuit, and a control circuit. The first circuit may include a first coil. The first rectifier circuit may include a first switch and a second switch among a plurality of switches. The detuning circuit may include at least one detuning capacitor and at least one detuning switch. In response to a voltage at an output terminal of the first rectifier circuit exceeding a first voltage, the control circuit may be configured to form a closed loop including the first coil, the first switch, and the second switch by controlling the at least one detuning switch to an on state and controlling the first switch and the second switch to the on state.
