An electronic device includes a display layer having pixels and configured to operate in units of one frame including a blank period and a data input period, and a sensor layer disposed on the display layer, and configured to sense a first type input and a second type input different from the first type input, wherein the sensor layer may be driven to sense the first type input and the second type input in the blank period, and, in one frame, a number of times that the second type input is sensed may be greater than a number of times that the first type input is sensed.

Liquid crystal display device

A display device includes substrate including a red pixel area, a green pixel area, a blue pixel area, and a white pixel area, a gate line and a data line on the substrate, a thin film transistor connected to each of the gate line and the data line, an insulating layer on the gate line, the data line, and the thin film transistor, the insulating layer having grooves in the red pixel area, the green pixel area, and the blue pixel area, respectively, a reflective layer on the insulating layer, the reflective layer being in the red pixel area, the green pixel area, and the blue pixel area, a color filter in each of the grooves of the insulating layer, and a transparent pixel electrode on the color filter and the insulating layer, the transparent pixel electrode being connected to the thin film transistor.

A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate opposing a second substrate, a reflection layer on the first substrate, a color filter layer on the reflection layer, and a pixel electrode on the color filter layer. The color filter layer includes a first color filter adjacent to a second color filter. The reflection layer includes a slit portion overlapping an edge portion between the first color filter and the second color filter.

Reflective liquid crystal display device

A display device includes a substrate including first, second, third, and fourth pixel areas, first, second, and third color filters at the first, second, and third pixel areas on the substrate, respectively, and a fourth color filter at the fourth pixel area on the substrate, the fourth color filter having a plurality of holes, wherein the plurality of holes includes a first hole, a second hole, and a third hole adjacent to each other, and wherein a first imaginary straight line passing through a center of the first hole and a center of the second hole has an angle in a range from about 20 degrees to about 80 degrees with respect to a second imaginary straight line passing through the center of the first hole and a center of the third hole.

A reflective display device includes: first and second substrates opposing one another; a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates; a gate line on the first substrate; a gate insulating layer on the gate line; a data line on the gate insulating layer and intersecting the gate line; a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line; a first passivation layer on the data line and the thin film transistor; a reflective electrode on the first passivation layer; a second passivation layer on the reflective electrode; a pixel electrode on the second passivation layer; a common electrode on the second substrate; and a matrix electrode on at least one of the first and second substrates. The matrix electrode defines a pixel area.

Reflective display device

A thin film transistor substrate includes a base substrate, a first metallic layer including a gate electrode of a thin film transistor and an island electrode spaced apart from the gate electrode on the base substrate, a semiconductor layer of which a portion thereof overlaps the gate electrode of the first metallic layer, and a second metallic layer including a source electrode and a drain electrode of the thin film transistor which are spaced apart from each other on the portion of the semiconductor layer. The source electrode of the thin film transistor overlaps the island electrode.

Thin film transistor substrate and display device including the same

An optical film includes: a light-transmissive matrix having a plate shape; a plurality of first rods having a refractive index different from a refractive index of the light-transmissive matrix and disposed at a first inclination angle in the light-transmissive matrix; and a plurality of second rods having a refractive index different from the refractive index of the light-transmissive matrix and disposed at a second inclination angle in the light-transmissive matrix. The gate pad parts, the data pad parts, the first test transistors, and the second test transistors are disposed in a non-display area of the thin film transistor substrate. The first test transistors are configured to be switched to receive a first inspection signal and the second test transistors are configured to be switched to receive a second inspection signal.
