A refrigerator includes a storage chamber, a cold air supply which supplies cold air to the storage chamber, a first tray which forms a part of an ice making cell that is a space where water is phase-changed into ice by the cold air, a second tray which forms another part of the ice making cell and which may come into contact with the first tray during an ice making process and may be separated from the first tray during an ice transfer process, a heater adjacent to at least one of the first tray or the second tray, a sensor which determines the position of the second tray in a movement process of the second tray, and a control unit which controls the heater.

A refrigerator may include: a storage chamber, a first ice-maker, a second ice-maker, a cooler for supplying the cold to the storage chamber and the ice-making chamber, an ice bin for storing ice generated by the second ice-maker, a water supply unit for supplying water to the ice-making cell, a heater for supplying heat to the ice-making cell, and a controller for controlling the heater. The controller may increase the heating amount of the heater when the heat transfer amount between the cold in the storage chamber and the water in the ice-making cell is increased, and decreases the heating amount of the heater when the heat transfer amount between the cold in the storage chamber and the water in the ice-making cell is reduced.

A refrigerator may include a first tray assembly forming a part of an ice making cell, a second tray assembly forming another part of the ice making cell, a heater provided adjacent to at least one of the first or second tray assemblies, a driver connected to the second tray assembly, and a control unit to control the heater and the driver. A refrigerator according to the present disclosure includes a tray configured to form an ice making cell, a cooler configured to supply cold air to the ice making cell, a water supply valve configured to control the flow of water to the ice making cell, and a controller configured to control the water supply valve, wherein the controller controls the water supply valve so that cold air from the cooler is supplied to the ice making cell before the water supply valve is turned on, and water is supplied to the ice making cell after the cold air is supplied to the ice making cell.

Refrigerator and method for controlling same

The present invention relates to a refrigerator. A refrigerator of the present invention may comprise: a first tray assembly forming a part of ice-making cells; a second tray assembly forming the other part of the ice-making cells; and a heater. In order to reduce the transfer heat, which is transferred from the heater to any one of the first and second tray assemblies, to ice-making cells formed by the other tray assembly, the one tray assembly may comprise a first part forming at least a part of the ice-making cells. The degree of heat transfer of the first part may vary along the outer circumferential surfaces of the ice-making cells.

A refrigerator according to the present invention may comprise a first tray assembly forming one part of ice-making cells, and a second tray assembly forming the other part of same. Any one tray assembly, from among the first and second tray assemblies, comprises a first part forming at least a part of the ice-making cells, and a second part extending from a set point on the first part so as to reduce water supplied to the ice-making cells from leaking through a space between the first and second tray assemblies.

Provided is a refrigerator in which a heater disposed at a side of a first tray or a second tray may be turned on in at least partial section while a cold air supply part supplies cold air to an ice making cell so that bubbles dissolved in water within the ice making cell move from a portion at which ice is made toward liquid water to make transparent ice, and one or more of the cooling power of the cold air supply part and the heating amount of heater may be controlled according to a mass per unit height of the water in the ice making cell so that the transparency is uniform for each unit height of the water in the ice making cell.
