A solar cell includes a semiconductor substrate of a first conductive type and includes a first side and a second side, the second side having a textured structure formed on the entire second side; a first doped region of the first conductive type and a second doped region of a second conductive type on the first side; a first passivation layer on the first doped region and the second doped region and exposing a portion of a back surface of each of the first and second doped regions, the first passivation layer being formed of silicon nitride (SiNx), silicon dioxide (SiOx), or a combination thereof; a second passivation layer on the second side; an anti-reflection layer on the second passivation layer; and a first electrode electrically connected to the first doped region and a second electrode electrically connected to the second doped region.

A display device and method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a first line extending in a first direction, a second line extending in a second direction, and a storage capacitor electrically connected to at least one of the first line and the second line. The first line includes a first metal pattern layer extending in the first direction, an intermediate insulating layer formed over the first metal pattern layer, and a second metal pattern layer formed over the first metal pattern layer and the intermediate insulating layer. The second metal pattern layer extends in the first direction. The first line also includes a third metal pattern layer electrically connecting the first metal pattern layer to the second metal pattern layer via a contact hole.

The solar cell module includes a plurality of back contact solar cells, an interconnector that is positioned on back surfaces of the plurality of back contact solar cells and electrically connects adjacent back contact solar cells to one another, upper and lower protective layers for protecting the plurality of back contact solar cells, a transparent member that is positioned on the upper protective layer on light receiving surfaces of the plurality of back contact solar cells, and a back sheet that is positioned under the lower protective layer on surfaces opposite the light receiving surfaces of the plurality of back contact solar cells. The upper protective layer and the lower protective layer are formed of different materials.

A solar cell and a method of manufacturing a solar cell are disclosed. The solar cell includes forming a first doped region of a first conductive type and a second doped region of a second conductive type opposite the first conductive type on a semiconductor substrate of the first conductive type; forming a passivation layer on the semiconductor substrate to expose a portion of each of the first and second doped regions; and forming a first electrode electrically connected to the first doped region and a second electrode electrically connected to the second doped region, wherein the forming of the first and second electrodes includes forming a metal seed layer directly contacting the first doped region and a metal seed layer directly contacting the second doped region, and forming a conductive layer on the metal seed layer of each of the first and second electrodes.

A display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the device includes a substrate including a display area displaying an image via a plurality of pixels and a non-display area adjacent to the display area. The device also includes a first line and a second line in the display area. The display device also includes a first connection line and a second connection line in the non-display area, wherein the first and second connection lines are respectively connected to the first and second lines and extend in different directions to cross each other. The display device also includes an insulating layer formed over the substrate and including a first portion and a second portion, the first portion corresponding to the display area and the second portion corresponds to a crossing area where the first and second connection lines cross each other, the thickness of the first and second portions are different.
