A toner level detector, includes: a toner cartridge storing toner and having one side provided with a light-permeable region; an agitator, which is rotatably disposed in the toner cartridge and agitates the toner; a reflective region disposed on an inner surface on the other side of the toner cartridge; a first cleaner disposed on one side of the agitator; a second cleaner disposed on the other side of the agitator; and a transceiver, which is disposed on a body outside the toner cartridge, and outputs an emitting signal to the reflective region through the light-permeable region, wherein the reflective region reflects the emitting signal to generate a reflective signal received by the transceiver through the reflective region, wherein the first cleaner, which is rotating, intermittently cleans the light-permeable region, which is fixed; and the second cleaner, which is rotating, intermittently cleans the reflective region, which is fixed.

Reflective toner level detector with relative rotating and cleaning

A toner level detector includes a toner cartridge, an agitator, a reflective region, a first cleaner, a second cleaner and a transceiver. The toner cartridge stores toner, and has a light-permeable region. The agitator rotatably disposed in the toner cartridge agitates the toner. The reflective region is disposed on the agitator. The first cleaner is disposed on the agitator. The second cleaner is disposed on the toner cartridge. The transceiver disposed on a body outside the toner cartridge outputs an emitting signal to the reflective region through the light-permeable region. The reflective region reflects the emitting signal to generate a reflective signal received by the transceiver through the reflective region. The rotating first cleaner intermittently cleans the fixed light-permeable region, and the fixed second cleaner intermittently cleans the rotating reflective region.

The present disclosure provides a transmission assembly and an office machine comprising the same. The transmission assembly includes a body, a first roller, a second roller, a flexible element, a third roller and a transmission element. The first roller is pivoted at a first position of the body, the second roller is pivoted at a second position of the body, one end of the flexible element connects to the body, the third roller is pivoted besides the first roller in parallel and rotates with the first roller simultaneously, and a transmission element is used to surround axes of the first roller and the second roller; wherein, the rotating directions of the first roller, the second roller, the third roller and the transmission element are the same. The present disclosure provides another office machine using the same.

Transmission assembly and office machine using the same

A feeding device for digital processing machine includes a paper passage, a friction device, and a sheet-feeding module. The sheet-feeding module is disposed in the paper passage and opposite to the friction device. The sheet-feeding module includes a sheet-feeding roller, a first idle wheel, and a belt. The sheet-feeding roller is for separating a sheet with the friction device. The first idle wheel is disposed in the upstream side of the sheet-feeding roller. The belt encircles the first idle wheel and the axle of the sheet-feeding roller. The sheet-feeding module rotates from a first position to a second position when the sheet-feeding roller rotates, such that the belt contacts the sheet when the sheet-feeding module is at the second position.

Feeding device

A feeding device for a digital processing machine includes a paper passage, a sheet-feeding roller, a friction device, and a slide. The sheet-feeding roller is disposed in the paper passage, and the friction device is disposed opposite to the sheet-feeding roller. The sheet-feeding roller separates a sheet with the friction device. The slide is disposed at a left side and a right side of the sheet-feeding roller. The slide is lowered from a first position to a second position when the sheet-feeding roller rotates, such that the sheet contacts the sheet-feeding roller.

A feeding device is disclosed, which comprises a paper passage, a sheet-separating roller, a friction institution, and a stopper. The sheet-separating roller is disposed in the paper passage. The friction institution is disposed in the paper passage opposite to the sheet-separating roller. The stopper is disposed in the upstream side of the sheet-separating roller. The stopper includes an axle, a short arm, and a long arm. The short arm connects to the axle, and the axle acts as a fulcrum. The long arm and the short arm disposed to the axle coaxially. A threshold of the force for pushing the short arm is larger than a threshold of the force for pushing the long arm.

A dual-slope light guide includes a first surface, a second surface and a curved surface. The first surface has first reflecting structures. The second surface, connected to the first surface, has second reflecting structures. An included angle between the first surface and the second surface is unequal to 180 degrees. The curved surface connects the first surface to the second surface. The first surface, the second surface and the curved surface extend from a first end of the light guide to a second end of the light guide. A light beam incident to the first end of the light guide is reflected and converted by the first reflecting structure and the second reflecting structure into linear light emitted from the curved surface. A light source module and an optical assembly for a scanner are also disclosed.

An intermittent feeding mechanism applied in the automatic document feeder (ADF) of a business machine. By design of integrating components, manufacturing costs and assembly work can be reduced efficiently, thus associated costs can be further reduced. Besides, the built-in design of the present disclosure can reduce the installation space and facilitate the miniaturization of a business machine.

A linear light source module comprises a holder, a first light guide, a second light guide, a first light-emitting element and a second light-emitting element. The first and second light guides are mounted on the holder and arranged in series, where the first light guide has a first emitting surface and the second light guide has a second emitting surface. The holder partially surrounds the first and second light guides. The first light-emitting element is disposed close to a first end of the first light guide, and a light beam emitted by the first light-emitting element is reflected and converted by the first light guide into first linear light emitted from the first emitting surface. The second light-emitting element is disposed close to a first end of the second light guide, and a light beam emitted by the second light-emitting element is reflected and converted by the second light guide into second linear light emitted from the second emitting surface. An optical assembly for a scanner using such linear light source module is also disclosed.

An automatic feeding apparatus includes a body and a sheet passage, a sheet-separation mechanism and a sheet-input assisting mechanism in the body. The sheet-separation mechanism is configured to separate sheets. The sheet-input assisting mechanism includes a frame, a presser, a clutch gear and a driving device. The clutch gear, driven by the driving device, is displaceable on a guide groove of the frame between a first position and a second position. The clutch gear is rotated rearward to be engaged with a gear rack of the presser at the first position and thereby drive the presser to move in a first direction. The clutch gear is rotated forward to move to the second position and disengaged from the gear rack of the presser. After being released, the presser moves in a second direction to press a sheet in front of a nip portion of the sheet-separation mechanism.

Automatic feeding apparatus with sheet-input assisting mechanism

A cover-type apparatus with a simplified locking structure includes a first body, a second body and an interlocking mechanism for fastening the second body and the first body together. The interlocking mechanism includes a hook disposed on the first body, and an elastic member disposed on the second body and being engageable with the hook. The elastic member deforms elastically in response to a force exerted thereon by the hook.

A transmission mechanism for switching output powers includes first to fourth transmission gears, first and second power-connecting members and a driving mechanism. The first power-connecting member coaxially disposed between the first and second transmission gears is moved axially, and connects the first and second transmission gears together to transmit power to the second transmission gear. The second power-connecting member coaxially disposed between the third and fourth transmission gears is moved axially and connects the third and fourth transmission gears together to transmit power to the fourth transmission gear. The driving mechanism synchronously drives the first and second power-connecting members to move axially to selectively connect the first transmission gear to the second transmission gear, or connect the third transmission gear to the fourth transmission gear. A scanning apparatus using the transmission mechanism is also disclosed.

Transmission mechanism and scanning apparatus for switching output powers

The invention provides an automatic document feeder for a scanning apparatus. The automatic document feeder includes a feeding passage, a feeding mechanism, a shaft, an idle roller, and a detecting device. The feeding mechanism is used for transporting a document along the feeding passage. The shaft is disposed at the feeding passage, and the idle roller is sleeved on the shaft. When the document is transported through the feeding passage, the idle roller is driven to rotate by the document. The detecting device detects a rotational speed of the idle roller and outputs a detection signal according to the rotational speed of the idle roller.

Automatic document feeder and scanning apparatus having device for detecting document speed

In a scan apparatus, a sheet feeder having a sheet-stopping function includes a rotating shaft, a sheet-input roller, a pick-up mechanism and a sheet-stopping mechanism. The pick-up mechanism, including a bracket mounted on the rotating shaft and a pick-up roller mounted on the bracket, picks up a sheet from a paper tray. The sheet-stopping mechanism, driven independent of movement of the bracket by the rotating shaft, switches between a sheet-stopping state and a sheet-non-stopping state. The rotating shaft rotates in a first direction to enable the sheet-stopping mechanism to enter the sheet-non-stopping state and rotates in a second direction to enable the sheet-stopping mechanism to enter the sheet-stopping state, in which a passage to the sheet-input roller is blocked up.

Sheet feeder and scan apparatus with sheet-stopping function independent of movement of pick-up mechanism

A sheet feeder has a transmission mechanism which includes an output gear mesh with a transmission gear train, and a switch element, disposed between the transmission gear train and the output gear, for switching a rotational direction of the output gear. The switch element includes a movable arm, a driving gear driven by the transmission gear train, a switching gear set attached to the arm and meshing with the driving gear, and a clutch device for restricting movement of the arm to enable the switching gear set to be disengaged from the output gear. When the output gear meshes with the switching gear set, the output gear and a transmission shaft of the sheet feeding mechanism may change the direction of their rotation. When the output gear is disengaged from the switching gear set, the output gear and the transmission shaft of the sheet feeding mechanism are not driven by a power source.
