A display device is provided. The display device includes a substrate including a touch sensing area and a touch peripheral area disposed near the touch sensing area; a circuit layer disposed on the substrate; a touch sensor layer disposed on the circuit layer, including N number of touch sensing electrodes arranged in the touch sensing area in a first direction and a second direction, and N number of sensing transfer lines electrically connected to the N number of touch sensing electrodes, respectively; a multiplexer disposed in the touch peripheral area and electrically connected between the N number of sensing transfer lines and a touch driving circuit; and an electrostatic shielding layer overlapping with the multiplexer. The N number of sensing transfer lines extend from the N number of touch sensing electrodes to the multiplexer. Among the N number of sensing transfer lines, 2M number of sensing transfer lines selected by the multiplexer are electrically connected to the touch driving circuit. Each of N and M is a natural number and M is smaller than N.

Display device

A touch panel and a method of manufacturing the touch panel are provided. The touch panel includes a substrate comprising a wiring area and a sensor area, a sensing pattern located on a surface of the substrate in the sensor area, and a wiring line located on the surface of the substrate in the wiring area and electrically connected to the sensing pattern. The sensing pattern includes a plurality of first fine metal lines arranged irregularly in a mesh, and a first photosensitive layer pattern residue located between at least two of the first fine metal lines.

A touch screen panel includes a substrate, a sensing electrode, a connection wire, and a passivation layer. The substrate includes a first area and a second area disposed outside the first area. The sensing electrode is disposed in the first area. The connection wire is electrically connected to the sensing electrode, the connection wire being disposed in the second area. The passivation layer covers portions of the sensing electrode and the connection wire. The sensing electrode includes a first conductive layer disposed on the substrate. The connection wire includes a second conductive layer disposed on the substrate, a metal wiring layer disposed on the second conductive layer, and a capping layer disposed on the second conductive layer.

Touch screen panel including multilayer connection wire and method of manufacturing the same

A touch panel includes a substrate, a first signal line, and a second signal line. The first signal line extends on the substrate in a first direction and includes a first height from the substrate. The second signal line extends on the substrate in a second direction crossing the first direction and includes a second height from the substrate. The second signal line is disposed in the same layer as the first signal line. The second height is greater than the first height.

A touch panel, a display device having the same, and a method of manufacturing the touch panel are disclosed. In one aspect, the touch panel includes a base substrate and a first sensing portion extending in a first direction and formed over the base substrate. The first sensing portion including a plurality of first fine lines defining a plurality of spaces therebetween. The touch panel also includes a second sensing portion extending in a second direction crossing the first direction and formed over the base substrate and a first insulating layer covering the first fine lines. The first insulating layer defines a plurality of openings therein corresponding to the spaces between the first fine lines. The second sensing portion crosses the first sensing portion with the first insulating layer interposed therebetween.

In an exemplary embodiment, the thin film transistor array includes: a substrate; a gate line including a gate pad and disposed on the substrate; a gate insulating layer disposed on the gate line and the gate pad; a data line including a data pad and disposed on the gate insulating layer; a first passivation layer disposed on the data line; a first electrode disposed on the first passivation layer; a second passivation layer disposed on the first electrode; and a second electrode disposed on the second passivation layer.
