An engine cooling system may include: a head water jacket that is formed within a cylinder head; a block water jacket that is formed within a cylinder block; an EGR cooler water jacket which cools EGR gas of an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) device; a water chamber that is formed within the cylinder block, and that supplies a coolant to the head water jacket and the EGR cooler water jacket; and a water pump pumping the coolant to the block water jacket and the water chamber based on the driving state of an engine.

Engine cooling system

Disclosed is a water jacket for a cylinder head. The disclosed water jacket allows a coolant flowing in a cylinder head to pass around exhaust ports, thereby cooling the cylinder head to equalize the temperature thereof. The disclosed water jacket includes a coolant inlet provided around exhaust port holes of a cylinder head to concentrate a flow of a coolant to the coolant inlet and a coolant passage configured to allow the coolant flowing in through the coolant inlet to flow around the exhaust port holes.

Water jacket for a cylinder head

A water jacket apparatus for an engine may include a block water jacket provided in the cylinder block, interposing the combustion chamber therebetween, a head water jacket provided in the cylinder head corresponding to the combustion chamber, and an insert member portioning the block water jacket into an upper block water jacket and a lower block water jacket by being inserted into an upper portion of the block water jacket, and enabling the upper block water jacket to be interworked with the head water jacket.

An oil relief valve apparatus may include a valve hole that may be formed in a pump housing of an oil pump and may be provided between an oil passage and a relief passage to communicate therebetween, a plunger provided on an upper end of the valve hole, a support provided on a lower end of the valve hole, and an elastic member provided between the plunger and the support to elastically support the plunger, wherein the valve hole has an upper portion and a lower portion and may be provided with the plunger that have different cross sectional areas therein, wherein the plunger has an upper end and a lower end having different cross sectional areas and face-contacts to the valve hole, and wherein the upper end of the plunger may be slidably engaged to the upper portion of the valve hole.
