A wireless power receiver is disclosed. A wireless power receiver according to various embodiments of the present disclosure includes a resonant reception unit configured to receive wireless power by a resonance scheme; an inductive reception unit configured to receive wireless power by an induction scheme; and a power processing unit configured to process wireless power received at the resonant reception unit and the inductive reception unit. When the wireless power is received by the induction scheme, a current flowing in the inductive reception unit is greater than a current flowing in the resonant reception unit, and when the wireless power is received by the resonance scheme, a current flowing in the resonant reception unit is greater than a current flowing in the inductive reception unit.

A wireless power transmitting apparatus wirelessly charging a wireless power receiving apparatus is provided. The wireless power transmitting apparatus includes a power providing unit configured to provide power, a gate driver configured to generate a differential signal formed of a first signal and a second signal from the power provided from the power providing unit, an amplifier configured to amplify the differential signal by a predetermined gain, a power transmitting unit configured to transmit the amplified differential signal to the wireless power receiving apparatus, and a differential signal correcting circuit that is disposed between the gate driver and the amplifier and is configured to correct the differential signal so that a predetermined phase difference between the first signal and the second signal is maintained.

An electronic device includes a controller to receive a signal from an external electronic device, and, based at least in part on the received signal, identify a wireless power scheme among at least two wireless power schemes. During the transmission mode, the controller controls the full bridge circuit to convert DC power to AC power based on a wireless power frequency corresponding to the identified wireless power scheme by controlling at least one transistor of the full bridge circuit, and controls to wirelessly transmit power based on the AC power to the external electronic device. During the reception mode, the controller controls to receive power from the external electronic device, controls the full bridge circuit to convert the received power to DC power by controlling transistors of the full bridge circuit, and controls to provide the converted DC power for the battery of the electronic device.

A wireless power transmission apparatus includes patch antennas which form an RF wave; a memory storing electromagnetic wave distribution maps corresponding to transmission conditions for transmitting the RF wave; and a processor configured to determine a position of an electronic device and a position of a living body, determine a transmission condition which transmits the RF wave which causes an electromagnetic wave having a size not exceeding a first threshold value to be applied to a position of the living body while being beam-formed at a position of the electronic device, using at least a portion of the electromagnetic wave distribution maps, and generate the RF wave with the determined transmission condition using the patch antennas, each electromagnetic wave distribution map indicating the size of electromagnetic waves at one or more points around the wireless power transmission apparatus when the RF wave is formed by each of the transmission conditions.

A wireless power transmission device radiating electromagnetic waves is disclosed. The wireless power transmission device can comprise: a first circuit board; a first conductive member mounted on a first surface of the first circuit board; a first ground member mounted on a second surface facing opposite from the first surface; and an electrical circuit disposed on a position, on the second surface of the first circuit board, which does not overlap the first ground member and for controlling the radiation of electromagnetic waves from the first circuit board.

The method includes performing, when a predetermined measurement cycle arrives, a load measurement; comparing a current load measurement value with a previous load measurement value; determining whether the current load measurement value is increased over the previous load measurement value by at least as much as a first predetermined threshold; gradually increasing, when the load measurement value is increased over the previous load measurement value by at least as much as the first threshold, a transmission power value until a request for a subscription to a wireless multi-power transmission network from a power reception target within a predetermined time limit; and stopping, when the request for the subscription is not received before the time limit is exceeded, power transmission to the power reception target.

The method includes transmitting detection power towards a power receiving apparatus, detecting an impedance change made by the power receiving apparatus, transmitting driving power for communication with the power receiving apparatus towards the power receiving apparatus, receiving a search signal from the power receiving apparatus within a preset time, and determining whether the impedance change is within a first acceptable range based on the received search signal.

A power amplifier may comprise: an element for amplifying an electrical signal received through an input terminal, and outputting the amplified electrical signal through an output terminal; a first impedance adjustment circuit connected to the input terminal of the element and adjusting impedance with respect to a frequency of a fundamental component at the input terminal; a second impedance adjustment circuit connected to the input terminal of the element and adjusting impedance with respect to a frequency of a multiplied harmonic component at the input terminal; a third impedance adjustment circuit connected to the output terminal of the element and adjusting impedance with respect to the frequency of the fundamental component at the output terminal; a fourth impedance adjustment circuit connected to the output terminal of the element and adjusting impedance with respect to the frequency of the multiplied harmonic component at the output terminal; a first frequency separation circuit which prevents an impedance change by the first impedance adjustment circuit with respect to the frequency of the multiplied harmonic component at the input terminal, and prevents an impedance change by the second impedance adjustment circuit with respect to the frequency of the fundamental component at the input terminal; and a second frequency separation circuit which prevents an impedance change by the third impedance adjustment circuit with respect to the frequency of the multiplied harmonic component at the output terminal, and prevents an impedance change by the fourth impedance adjustment circuit with respect to the frequency of the fundamental component at the output terminal.

The method includes receiving power wirelessly from a power transmitting device; rectifying the received power; based on a voltage of the rectified power being greater than or equal to an allowable voltage of the charging circuit, controlling to convert the rectified power through a converting circuit of the electronic device and to output the converted power to the charging circuit for charging a battery of the electronic device, wherein the allowable voltage relates to a maximum voltage or a preferable voltage to be applied to the charging circuit; and based on the voltage of the rectified power being less than the allowable voltage of the charging circuit, controlling to stop converting the rectified power and to output the rectified power to the charging circuit by connecting the rectifying circuit to the charging circuit.

A wireless power transmitter for charging a wireless power receiver is provided. The wireless power transmitter includes a power transmission unit configured to transmit power for charging the wireless power receiver, by using a current applied to the power transmission unit, a communication module configured to receive out-of-band communication signal from the wireless power receiver and a controller configured to apply the current to the power transmission unit to transmit power in response to receiving the out-of-band communication signal from the wireless power receiver.
