A semiconductor device includes a gate structure on a substrate. The gate structure includes a first gate insulation pattern, a conductive pattern for controlling a threshold voltage, a first gate electrode and a first mask sequentially stacked. A dummy gate structure is spaced apart from the gate electrode. The dummy gate structure includes a first stressor pattern including titanium oxide. Source/drain regions are adjacent to the gate structure. The source/drain regions are doped with p-type impurities. The first stressor pattern may apply a stress onto the channel region of a transistor, and consequently the transistor having good electrical characteristics may be obtained.

Provided is a semiconductor device to which a pattern structure for performance improvement is applied. The semiconductor device includes first and second active regions spaced apart from each other in a first direction with an isolation layer interposed therebetween, a first normal gate formed on the first active region to extend in a second direction crossing the first direction, a first dummy gate having a portion overlapping with one end of the isolation layer and the other portion overlapping with the first active region and spaced apart from the first normal gate in the first direction, a second dummy gate having a portion overlapping with the other end of the isolation layer and the other portion overlapping with the second active region, a first normal source/drain contact formed on a source/drain region between the first normal gate and the first dummy gate, and a dummy contact formed on the isolation layer so as not to overlap with the first and second dummy gates and having a different size from the first normal source/drain contact.

The method of transmitting broadcast data includes: receiving at least one Internet Protocol (IP) packet group, the IP packet group classified based on a service provided by IP packets; generating first mapping information which indicates mapping information between an IP address corresponding to each of the at least one IP packet and an address within a transmission channel on which each of the at least one IP packet group is to be carried; and transmitting the first mapping information and the at least one IP packet group via the transmission channel. A user accesses only desired IP packets quickly and processes them so that a data processing speed can be improved.

A method for processing a stream of a digital broadcast receiver is provided. The method which processes a stream that is divided into a first area allocated to first mobile data and a second area allocated to normal data, includes: receiving a transport stream including new mobile data in at least a part of the second area separately from the first mobile data, demodulating the transport stream, equalizing the demodulated transport stream, and decoding at least one of the first mobile data and the new mobile data from the equalized transport stream. Accordingly, mobile data services may be provided in various ways.

Digital broadcast transmitter, digital broadcast receiver, and methods for configuring and processing streams thereof

Disclosed is a method of processing a stream of a digital broadcasting receiver. The method comprises: arranging at least one of new mobile data and known data in at least a portion of an existing mobile data region and in at least a portion of a normal data region, in a stream which includes the normal data region and the existing mobile data region; and composing a transmission stream where at least one of the new mobile data and the known data is arranged, and wherein the arranging combines a block of data arranged in the existing mobile data region and a block of the new mobile data in the stream, and performs serially concatenated convolution code (SCCC) coding on the combined blocks.
