According to a steering column for a vehicle according to the present embodiments, a wide convenient space can be secured for a driver in a teles-in state by increasing a teles-stroke while securing an installation space for the steering column, the installation of the steering column is spatially convenient despite the increased teles-stroke, and a teles operation can be quickly performed without increasing the output of a motor, and thus a convenient space can be quickly secured for a driver without degraded noise performance.

According to the present embodiments, a telescopic stroke is increased while an installation space of a steering column is easily secured, and a telescopic operation can be quickly performed without increasing a motor output. During the telescopic operation, noise may be reduced, and assemblability and mass productivity of the steering column may be improved.

A steering column for vehicle is disclosed. The steering column for vehicle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure include a steering shaft; an inner tube into which the steering shaft is inserted and coupled and which forwardly or backwardly moves the steering shaft when moving in the longitudinal direction; an outer tube moving together with the inner tube when moving in the longitudinal direction, and coupled to the outside of the inner tube to allow the inner tube to independently move in the longitudinal direction; an outer tube drive for moving the outer tube in the longitudinal direction; and an inner tube drive for moving the inner tube in the longitudinal direction.

A vehicle steering apparatus is provided that includes a first shaft having an empty space inside, a second shaft, one end of which is inserted into inside of the first hollow shaft, a damper located between an inner circumferential surface of the first shaft and an outer circumferential surface of the second shaft, and a presser coupled to the one end of the second shaft and pressing the damper in an axial direction in which at least one of the first shaft or the second shaft extends. By using the vehicle steering apparatus, it is possible to provide various degrees of the rigidity according to requirements of vehicles by adjusting the rigidity of a damper capable of improving driver's steering feeling through the absorbing of vibration in a coupling mechanism for coupling shafts after having been assembled.

The present invention provides a wide angle joint including: a pair of yoke shafts mounted on opposite sides thereof to transmit power from the one side to the opposite side, each yoke shaft having a ball end portion provided on a first yoke part to which a spider is coupled; a plate having a large-diameter part formed in the middle thereof and protruding parts protruding from the large-diameter part in the opposite axial directions while being reduced in a radially inward direction, wherein the protruding parts have insertion recesses into which the ball end portions of the yoke shafts are inserted, and the large-diameter part is faulted to have different widths in radial directions from the central portion thereof; and a pair of coupling yokes, each of which has a second yoke part connected with the first yoke part through the spider and a support recess into which the large-diameter part of the plate is inserted.

A steering column assembly for a vehicle may include a buffer structure provided between a steering housing and a steering shaft inserted into the steering housing to distribute vibration applied thereto and to compensate for the distortion of the steering shaft and a clearance of the steering shaft with the steering housing, wherein a support structure is also provided to secure the support performance of the steering housing with respect to a mounting bracket in the event of a tilt and a longitudinal motion of the steering housing, ensuring the horizontal rigidity of the steering housing and reducing vibration applied thereto.

Steering column assembly for vehicle

Disclosed is a steering column for a vehicle. By the steering column, a manipulation convenience of the driver can be increased by performing a tilting or telescoping operation by using a pressure of air or oil without using an adjusting lever. Further, the number of components and manufacturing costs can be significantly reduced by easily adjusting an operating force of the actuator using a pressure of air or oil and an operating force of the lever according to the type of the vehicle.
