The present invention relates to a dryer having a liquid spraying function, and according to one aspect of the present invention, a laundry treating apparatus including a plurality of laundry treating courses which have different laundry treating methods is provided. The apparatus comprises: a drum for receiving the laundry; a hot air supply means for supplying hot air to the inner side of the drum; a spraying means for spraying a fragrant solution to the inside of the drum; a manipulating means including a course selecting means for selecting the laundry treating courses; and a controller for controlling the apparatus according to the instructions inputted by the manipulating means, wherein a plurality of laundry treating courses includes at least one scent spray course for spraying the fragrant solution during the laundry treating process, and the course selecting means comprises a scent spray course selecting means for selecting one of the scent spray courses.

Laundry treating apparatus with liquid spraying function

A dehumidifying apparatus for a dryer is provided that includes a case, a drum disposed inside the case that receives objects to be dried therein, and a hot air supplier that supplies hot air into the drum and dries the objects to be dried. The dehumidifying apparatus includes a heat exchanger that heat exchanges with air flowing from the drum, and an injection nozzle portion disposed between the hot air supplier and the heat exchanger so as to inject a certain jet. When gas introduced into the dehumidifying apparatus from the drum passes through the jet, foreign substances such as lint, contained in the gas may be separated, thereby preventing accumulation of the foreign substances on the dehumidifying apparatus.

An operating method for a laundry drier which has a rotatable drum mounted inside a main body, a heater for heating the air flowing into the drum; and a scent supply module for spraying scent into the drum, comprising: a drying step of drying the laundry by supplying hot air heated by the heater; a pre-treating step of tumbling the drum while supplying air with the heater off; and a scent treating step of spraying scent onto the laundry which has passed through the pre-treating step. Since the scent is sprayed on after the pre-treating step, the scent can be effectively deposited on the laundry.

The clothes treating apparatus comprises: a body; a drum accommodated in the body; a steam generator communicated with inside of the drum, and configured to inject steam into the drum; a reservoir configured to store liquid to be supplied to the steam generator, and having an outlet at a bottom surface thereof; a closure having a check valve, and configured to close the outlet; and a reservoir accommodation portion configured to temporarily store the liquid discharged through the check valve, and communicated with the steam generator for flow of the liquid, wherein the check valve is configured to be open only when the reservoir has been mounted to the reservoir accommodation portion.

A condensing type dryer uses a heat exchanger in which condensed water can be smoothly discharged through a water-discharging slot formed in a rear end portion of a rear cover of the heat exchanger. The water-discharging slot prevents an air flowing resistance which can be caused by condensed water pooling at the rear end portion of the rear cover. Also, leakage-preventing walls enhance the heat exchanging function by ensuring a uniform flow of cold external air through the heat changer. The leakage-preventing walls prevent external air from leaking around the lateral edges of the heat exchanger.

A drum for a clothes dryer in which an internal structure, especially, a baffle structure, of the drum is improved to prevent target items from being entangled and damaged during a drying operation to thereby improve the drying efficiency of the clothes dryer. Rotatable balls are inserted in the baffles mounted on an internal surface of the drum, the mounting arrangement of the baffles is changed, or the baffles are modified to thus improve the drying operation. In addition, an absorbent is filled in the baffles to thus increase the drying efficiency.
