Disclosed are an active layer composition for a solar cell containing a two-dimensional conjugated polymer that has excellent thermal/chemical stability and may improve power conversion efficiency of an organic solar cell via realization of high open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current, a preparation method of the composition, and an organic solar cell containing the composition. The composition contains a two-dimensional conjugated polymer having a repeating unit represented by a following Chemical Formula 4-2 as an electron donor material: wherein the Chemical Formula 4-2, n is an integer of 5 to 2000.

The present invention relates to a novel solution processable red-emitting iridium (III) complex. In the iridium (III) complex, a quinoline-thiophene derivative is introduced as a main ligand and a picolinic acid derivative substituted with a halogen, a substituent having electron transporting properties or a substituent having hole transporting properties is introduced as an ancillary ligand at the para-position relative to the nitrogen atom of picolinic acid. The iridium (III) complex is a red phosphorescent compound that is highly electrically stable, exhibits excellent luminescent properties and high luminance, and has high color purity. In addition, the iridium (III) complex has improved solubility in organic solvents and good resistance to heat, ensuring excellent interfacial properties with electrodes. Therefore, the iridium (III) complex is useful as a light emitting material for an organic electroluminescence device. The present invention also relates to an organic electroluminescence device including the iridium (III) complex.

Provided are a hole transporting material for a photovoltaic device and a photovoltaic device including the same, wherein the hole transporting material is a triphenylamine derivative into which a specific substituent is introduced. The triphenylamine derivative into which the specific substituent is introduced according to the present invention is used as a material of a hole transport layer of the photovoltaic device to exhibit improved power conversion efficiency than those of the existing materials. The triphenylamine derivative into which the specific substituent is introduced according to the present invention has high hole mobility, an appropriate energy level, thermal stability, and good solubility due to a structural characteristic, and when the triphenylamine derivative is applied as the hole transporting material of the photovoltaic device, particularly, a perovskite solar cell, or an organic solar cell, excellent power conversion efficiency and device stability are exhibited as compared to the existing hole transporting material, Spiro-OMeTAD or PEDOT:PSS mixture.
