A refrigerator is proposed. In the refrigerator, a cool air passage for a freezing compartment which guides the flow of cool air to the freezing compartment, and a cool air passage for an ice-making compartment which guides the flow of cool air to the ice-making compartment partially share the cool air with each other. Through the sharing of cool air, the amount of cool air supplied to the freezing compartment is increased and sufficient cool air is supplied to the refrigerating compartment. Accordingly, sufficient cool air is supplied to the refrigerating compartment, the freezing compartment, and the ice-making compartment even with a single evaporator.

Refrigerator

A refrigerator includes a cool air passage for guiding the flow of cool air to a freezing compartment and a cool air passage for guiding the flow of cool air to an ice-making compartment that partially share the cool air. Through the sharing of cool air, the amount of cool air supplied to the freezing compartment is increased and sufficient cool air is supplied to the refrigerating compartment. Accordingly, sufficient cool air is supplied to the refrigerating compartment, the freezing compartment, and the ice-making compartment even with a single evaporator.

A refrigerator includes a refrigerating compartment, a freezing compartment, and an ice-making compartment. The refrigerating compartment is configured to receive cool air from a refrigerating compartment side grille fan assembly, and the ice-making compartment is configured to be located any one refrigerating compartment door and to receive cool air from a freezing compartment side grille fan assembly with the freezing compartment. The refrigerating compartment side grille fan assembly is configured to supply a greater amount of cool air to the side where the ice-making compartment and the refrigerating compartment side grille fan assembly are located, and to perform cool air supply proportional to temperature influence provided from the ice-making compartment and the refrigerating compartment side grille fan assembly.

A refrigerator is configured to supply cool air to a refrigerating compartment, a freezing compartment, and an ice-making compartment by a single evaporator. A cool air passage for the ice-making compartment for supplying cool air to the ice-making compartment is configured to supply the cool air to an upper space in a cool air passage for the freezing compartment, which supplies cool air to the refrigerating compartment and the freezing compartment, through an upper supply passage. Accordingly, since additional cool air is supplied to the cool air passage for the freezing compartment by using the upper supply passage, sufficient cool air is supplied to the refrigerating compartment and the freezing compartment by the single evaporator.

A refrigerator includes a cabinet, an evaporator, a shroud, a grille panel coupled to a front surface of the shroud, and a blower fan module disposed between the grille panel and the shroud and configured to blow the cool air from the evaporator toward a freezing compartment. The blower fan module includes an installation frame defining a first plane that faces a rear surface of the grille panel, and a second plane that faces the front surface of the shroud, a hub part that is rotatably coupled to the second plane of the installation frame and faces an inlet hole of the shroud, and a blower impeller disposed in the hub part.

A refrigerator includes a cabinet having a freezing compartment below a refrigerating compartment, an ice making compartment at a side of the refrigerating compartment, an evaporator, a shroud that is disposed at a front side of the evaporator, a grille panel coupled to a front surface of the shroud, a first cool air guide channel defined between the grille panel and the shroud and configured to guide cool air to a freezing compartment, a second cool air guide channel defined between the grille panel and the shroud and configured guide cool air to the ice making compartment, a freezing fan module disposed between the grille panel and the shroud and configured to supply cool air to the first cool air guide channel, and an ice making fan module disposed between the grille panel and the shroud and configured to supply cool air to the second cool air guide channel.

A refrigerator includes a valve assembly located at a refrigerant path from a condenser to at least one expansion valve for controlling flow of a refrigerant from the condenser to the at least one expansion valve. The valve assembly includes a valve chamber, wherein the refrigerant drawn from the condenser is held in the valve chamber; at least one outlet hole through which the refrigerant held in the valve chamber is discharged to a corresponding outlet path connected to the at least one expansion valve; and a valve body for selectively opening and closing the at least one outlet hole as the valve body rotates, such that the refrigerant held in the valve chamber is selectively discharged to the corresponding outlet path.

A refrigerating system for a refrigerator is disclosed. The refrigerator includes a compressor that compresses refrigerant, a condenser connected to the compressor that condenses compressed refrigerant, an expansion valve connected to the condenser that expands condensed refrigerant, freezing chamber and refrigerating chamber evaporators connected to the expansion valve that cool air in a freezing chamber and a refrigerating chamber by using refrigerant, respectively, and a regulating valve between the condenser and the refrigerating chamber evaporator that regulates refrigerant supply to the refrigerating chamber evaporator, thereby providing a refrigerating system for a refrigerator having high efficiency.

Refrigerating system for refrigerator

An apparatus for evaluating a performance of a plasma-polymerized polymer layer using a UV spectrometer, including a polymerizing chamber for forming a polymerized polymer layer on a surface of a substrate by plasma discharging, a UV probe mounted contactless to the polymerized polymer layer formed in the polymerizing chamber and transmitting/receiving UV to and from the polymer layer and a UV spectrometer analyzing a signal inputted from the UV probe. With this apparatus, the characteristic of the surface of the substrate having a polymer layer consecutively polymerized by plasma can be evaluated in a contactless way, and the evaluation can be performed without affecting the process parameters such as the degree of vacuum within the chamber.

Fin tube type evaporator in an air conditioner including tubes for flow of a refrigerant therethrough, and fins each having a plurality of collars for coupling with the tubes, and a plurality of slits formed between the collars, wherein drain means of a predetermined form is formed between the collars, thereby draining the condensed water smoothly and reducing an air flow resistance, and leakage of condensed water out of the air conditioner.
