Semiconductor device including a functional layer and a method of fabricating the same

A method of fabricating a semiconductor device includes preparing a substrate including a first region and a second region, sequentially forming a first semiconductor layer and a second semiconductor layer on the first and second regions, patterning the first and second semiconductor layers to form a lower semiconductor pattern and an upper semiconductor pattern on each of the first and second regions, selectively removing the lower semiconductor pattern on the second region to form a gap region, and forming gate electrodes at the first and second regions, respectively.

Semiconductor device having fin-type field effect transistor and method of manufacturing the same

A semiconductor device includes a substrate including first and second regions, a first transistor provided on the first region to include a first channel region protruding from the substrate, and a second transistor provided on the second region to include a second channel region and a gate electrode extending between the substrate and the second channel region. The first channel region may include a lower semiconductor pattern containing a different material from the second channel region and an upper semiconductor pattern containing the same material as the second channel region.

A gate-all-around (GAA) semiconductor device can include a fin structure that includes alternatingly layered first and second semiconductor patterns. A source region can extend into the alternatingly layered first and second semiconductor patterns and a drain region can extend into the alternatingly layered first and second semiconductor patterns. A gate electrode can extend between the source region and the drain region and surround channel portions of the second semiconductor patterns between the source region and the drain region to define gaps between the source and drain regions. A semiconductor oxide can be on first side walls of the gap that face the source and drain regions and can be absent from at least one of second side walls of the gaps that face the second semiconductor patterns. A gate insulating layer can be on the first side walls of the gaps between the gate electrode and the semiconductor oxide.

Disclosed herein is an elliptical motion drive device for use in a step screen. The elliptical motion drive device comprises first and second eccentric wheels coupled to a single drive shaft to be eccentrically positioned to each other. Upon rotation of the drive shaft, the first and second eccentric wheels rotate and move along guide rails formed in different directions from each other to transversely and longitudinally rotate movable lattice plates connected to a movable frame of the step screen, thereby achieving elliptical motion of the movable lattice plates.

An elliptic motion driving apparatus for a step screen in which the elliptic motion of an elliptic motion driving unit is transferred to a driven link so as to make steep movable plates, connected by a movable column, perform elliptical movement in a longitudinal direction of the movable column, includes a driving rotation cam combined to a power transmission shaft rotating in linkage with a worm reduction gear of a driving motor, a horizontal motion eccentric shaft axially combined to the driving rotation cam so that a horizontal eccentric bearing of the horizontal motion eccentric shaft moves horizontally along a horizontal motion guiding rail, and a vertical motion eccentric shaft combined to the horizontal motion eccentric shaft through an eccentric rotation cam so that a vertical eccentric bearing of the vertical motion eccentric shaft moves vertically along a vertical motion guiding rail as the horizontal motion eccentric shaft rotates.
