Disclosed are a component for a fuel injector and a method for coating the same. The component for the fuel injector may include a base material, a bonding layer laminated on the base material, a support layer laminated on the outer surface of the bonding layer, and an NbSiCN functional layer including an NbCN layer and an SiCN layer and alternately laminated on the outer surface of the support layer, thereby reducing friction, high hardness, shock resistance, heat resistance, and durability of the component for the fuel injector.

Hot stamping steel and producing method thereof

Disclosed are a steel composition and a spring steel comprising the same. Highly durable coil spring steel

The present invention provides a valve for an engine and a method for treating the surface thereof. The valve for the engine includes a buffer layer, an intermediate layer, a TiAlN/CrN first nanostructured multilayer, and a TiAlCN/CrCN second nanostructured multilayer. The buffer layer is coated over a surface of a stem part as a lowermost layer and is formed of Ti or Cr. The intermediate layer is coated over the buffer layer and is formed of CrN, TiN, or TiCN. The TiAlN/CrN first nanostructured multilayer is coated over the intermediate layer. The TiAlCN/CrCN second nanostructured multilayer is coated over the TiAlN/CrN first nanostructured multilayer as an uppermost layer.

Valve for engine and method for treating surface thereof

The present disclosure provides a multi-layer tool piece coating. For example, the tool piece may be a mold or die used for forming ultra high strength steel sheet. The multi-layer mold coating may include a CrN or Ti(C)N junction layer, a first TiAlN/CrN nano multilayer, and a second TiAlCN/CrCN nano multilayer. The CrN or Ti(C)N junction layer may be coated on a base material of the tool piece (e.g., a mold) for forming the steel sheet. The first TiAlN/CrN nano multilayer may be coated on the CrN or Ti(C)N junction layer as an intermediate layer. The second TiAlCN/CrCN nano multilayer may be coated on the first TiAlN/CrN nano multilayer as an outermost surface functional layer, and may include carbon (C) of about 1 at. % to about 30 at. % for high temperature and low friction.
