A hydrogenation method for increasing the yield of cyclohexane-1,4-dicarboxylic acid diisooctyl ester is provided. The hydrogenation method uses a hydrogenating reaction tank, which is equipped with a hollow-shaft gas-introducing mixer having air-extracting, air-exhausting and mixing functions, to allow hydrogen gas to be uniformly dispersed in a reaction solution. A ruthenium-on-alumina (Ru/AlO) hydrogenation catalyst can be used for carrying out a hydrogenation reaction under gentle conditions. Therefore, the hydrogenation catalyst can be used in a reduced amount, the risk of side reaction(s) can be reduced, and the yield of cyclohexane-1,4-dicarboxylic acid diisooctyl ester can reach at least 99% with a cis isomer proportion of at least 85.0%. The hydrogenation method shows extremely high economic benefit.

A hydrogenation method for preparing HBPA includes placing a BPA reaction liquid into a hydrogenation vessel with a hollow-shaft stirrer installed inside; starting the hollow-shaft stirrer to stir the BPA reaction liquid and simultaneously allowing hydrogen gas evenly distributed over and contact well with the BPA reaction liquid; in the presence of a single-metallic Ru/Al2O3 hydrogenation catalyst to proceed with a catalytic hydrogenation at low temperature and low pressure to produce HBPA, the HBPA has a yield of 99.7% or more, and particularly having a trans/trans isomer ratio above 63%.

Hydrogenation method for preparing hydrogenated bisphenol-A having a higher trans/trans isomer ratio

A method for preparing 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol is provided. The method allows hydrogen gas fed into a reaction tank to be uniformly dispersed in a reaction solution by a gas-introducing mixer having air-extracting, air-exhausting and mixing functions. Accordingly, the reaction solution has a high concentration of dissolved hydrogen gas so that the reaction time of hydrogenation can be reduced to as short as possible. Furthermore, the method uses a hydrogenation catalyst having many advantages such as high activity and low cost. The added amount of the hydrogenation catalyst can be reduced under the operation of the gas-introducing mixer.

Method for preparing 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol

A process for producing 2-ethylhexanal involves performing reaction using a reaction tank equipped with a gas-introducing mixer having extracting, exhausting, and stirring functions in the presence of a palladium on carbon catalyst having a carbon carrier with lower impurity content and higher specific surface area for hydrogenation, and introducing hydrogen gas evenly into reaction liquid; resulted in that the process minimizes operational pressure for hydrogenation and increases a yield of 2-ethylhexanal at least up to 98.0%.

Process for producing 2-ethylhexanal helping to improve yield

A porous tin particle and its preparation method are provided in the present invention. The method includes steps of: (a) performing a reductive (or reductive electrochemical) reaction on a tin particle which simultaneously reacts with lithium ions to form a tin-lithium (Sn&#x2014;Li) alloy; and (b) performing an oxidative (or oxidative electrochemical) reaction on Sn&#x2014;Li alloy to release the lithium ions therefrom, and the porous tin particle is formed. The porous tin particle could be further applied in manufacturing the electrochemical electrode for lithium-ion battery with longer cycle life and higher reversibility.
