A vacuum cleaner includes a cleaner body including a suction source configured to generate a suction force, a suction inlet body configured to inhale dust on a surface to be cleaned using the suction force of the suction source, a dust bucket detachably installed on the cleaner body, a cyclonic unit formed inside the dust bucket and configured to centrifuge the dust from air flowed in through the suction inlet body, and a paper-shredder installed on a top of the dust bucket and configured to communicate with the top of the dust bucket so that shredded pieces of paper are dropped inside a dust collecting space of the dust bucket.

A vacuum cleaner includes a cleaner body having a suction source for generating a suction force; a suction nozzle assembly to draw in a dust or dirt from a surface to be cleaned by using the suction force of the suction source; a cyclone unit to separate the dust or dirt drawn in through the suction nozzle assembly from an air; a dust bin detachably disposed to the cleaner body to collect the dust or dirt separated at the cyclone unit; and a shredder to shred a paper, the shredder being detachably communicated with an opening of the dust bin to collect the shredded paper into the dust bin.

A nozzle assembly of a vacuum cleaner is provided that includes a casing, a suction port, a drum brush, a fan, and a blocking plate. The drum brush is rotatably disposed in the casing so drum bristles hit a surface being cleaned. The fan is disposed in the casing to be rotated by air drawn in through the suction port so that the fan rotates the drum brush. The blocking plate is adjacent to the front of the fan to screen most of the fan except for a lower portion of the fan. The fan includes a circular fan body, a shaft member, and a plurality of blades. The inside edge of each of the blades is at a distance from the shaft member so that the drawn-in air passes through a space defined between the inside edge of each of the blades and the shaft member.

Nozzle assembly of vacuum cleaner

A suction port assembly and vacuum cleaner having the same is disclosed. The suction port assembly includes a casing comprising a suction port which draws in dust from a surface being cleaned; a drum brush which is disposed rotatably in the casing, on an external surface of which a plurality of bristles are arranged to shake off dust from the surface being cleaned; and a rib which is disposed at a position close to the drum brush, is mounted in the casing so that its one end is in contact with the bristles, and detaches the dust from the bristles when the drum brush rotates; and wherein the bristles are contacted on a slant relative to the rib to prevent the drum brush from rotating when the casing is pulled towards a user.

Suction port assembly and vacuum cleaner having the same

A vacuum cleaner is disclosed which comprises a motor chamber for mounting a motor assembly that, generates a suction force at a dust suction port, and a discharge port for guiding an air discharged from the motor chamber to the outside of a cleaner body, wherein the motor chamber comprises an air discharge opening which is in fluid communication with the discharge port; and a path extension member disposed between the motor assembly and the air discharge opening, of which edges are spaced apart from an inner wall of the motor chamber by a predetermined distance, respectively, to thereby form a detour path, and the air discharged from the motor assembly is guided in a circuitous manner by the path extension member so as to be passed through the detour path before reaching the air discharge opening. That assembly effectively reduces noise generated during operation of the motor assembly that is detectable outside of the cleaner body.

A cyclone dust collecting apparatus comprises at least one second cyclone unit having a first cyclone unit, an air passage for guiding air discharging via the first cyclone unit, and a discharge pipe wherein the discharge pipe comprises a passage guide member for guiding air discharged from the second cyclone unit. Because the passage guide member is mounted in the discharge pipe of the second cyclone part, a load of suction source reduces to decrease power consumption for operation of a cyclone dust collecting apparatus.
