The present disclosure relates to an inductor including a coil, an inner core disposed inside the coil, and an outer core formed in a rectangular ring shape to accommodate the coil and the inner core therein, wherein the inner core is manufactured separately from the outer core, and at least one end of both ends of the inner core in an axial direction is spaced apart from the outer core.

A power supply is provided. The power supply includes: a switching module including switching elements and is configured to receive rectified power; a transformer configured to transform first power received from the switching module; an outputter including first and second switching elements, and is configured to receive the transformed first power from the transformer and output an output voltage that follows a preset reference voltage; and a controller configured to control the switching module to operate in a full bridge mode or a half bridge module based on a peak voltage of the rectified power, adjust a switching frequency of the switching module based on the output voltage, control switching of the first and second switching elements based on the output voltage, and adjust a duty ratio of each of the first and second switching elements based on the rectified power.

A power supply configured to include a switch which performs a switching operation in accordance with a preset period in a standby mode, a transformer which supplies voltage from a primary side to a secondary side in response to the switching operation of the switch, and a constant-voltage controller which controls voltage supplied to the system by regulating the voltage at the secondary side of the transformer, the constant-voltage controller including a blocking diode which shuts off current flowing from an output of the power supply to the constant-voltage controller in an off-section of the switch. Thus, the power consumption is decreased in the off-section, thereby having an effect on reducing the standby power.

An apparatus for supplying multi-output power is provided. The apparatus for supplying multi-output power includes a an input power unit which generates an LLC resonance signal using direct current (DC) power, a main output power unit which outputs a main voltage induced by the LLC resonance signal, a plurality of output power units which output secondary voltages induced by the LLC resonance signal at different level of voltages, and a first output power unit of the plurality of output power units outputs a respective one of the secondary voltages induced by the LLC resonance signal at a predetermined level of voltage using a different one of the secondary voltages output from a second output power unit of the plurality of output power units.

Apparatus for supplying multi-output power and display apparatus using the same

A display apparatus and a power supplying method are provided. The display apparatus includes a signal receiver which receives a video signal; a signal processor which processes the video signal; a display unit which displays an image based on a video signal processed by the signal processor; and a power supply which converts an alternating current (AC) voltage into a direct current (DC) voltage and supplies an operation voltage to the display unit, the power supply including: a power factor correction (PFC) unit which adjusts the DC voltage and corrects a power factor of the power supply; a detector which detects a plurality of voltages in the power supply and outputs a common detection signal indicating whether at least one of the plurality of voltages is abnormal; and a controller which receives the common detection signal, and controls the PFC unit based on the common detection signal.
